We arrived there quite easily from the airport (shonefield). The hotel is right next to the U-bahn leading easily to the center, but it's located in East Berlin which has a certain charm, especially for us being architects. The hotel itself is a modern one...More
The receptionists were friendly, the room was clean. We didn’t have breakfast and it was fairly expensive to add at €10 each. There is an underground station directly opposite the hotel. They have a safe in the room and lockers on the first floor so...More

When you arrive at Warschauer Strasse in the heart of the district, you have found one of Berlin’s party hotspots. At night in Friedrichshain, the energy is palpable and the streets of this old worker's quarter are full of street musicians. On one hand, you may find a bar with international crowds, electronic music, long lines and panoramic views - on the other, an outside venue by old train yards featuring decrepit
buildings and live alternative music. No matter your taste, the best way to end a night out in Friedrichshain is sitting by the Spree River at the East side gallery, the longest and best preserved piece of the Berlin Wall, watching the sun rise over the beautiful Oberbaum Bridge.
