This location is amazing - a little walk up from the station - but it is gorgeous!!! It is located at the harbor so there is lots to see and do. great restaurants across the road.

Located on top of a hill, with amazing views overlooking the port and town. Easy to reach by public transport, just a short walk from nearest station. It's very clean and tidy, even dorms and common areas.
Staff was very friendly and helped me with planing my stay in Hamburg. Breakfast was very good as well, and the view from the rooms is amazing! Location is perfect! Would stay here again!

This may only be a Hostelling International Youth Hostel but it's got to be one of the BEST places to stay in Hamburg, The location, overlooking the Elbe and the Port, is stunning, unforgettable, amazing. I really can't praise this place highly enough.
yes, the hostel is next to the malotow club. It's only a 15 minutes walk away (1.4 km along the "Reeperbahn") or you take the S-Bahn train S1 from "Landungsbrücken" to "Reeperbahn" (only 1 station).
