We stayed there for two nights in a private room for two people, private bathroom and all, and it only cost 20€ per person per night. We had to pay extra for breakfast but not that much. Sure, it is no luxury hotel and there are lots of other guests (yeah, other people like budget options too, what do you...

if your thinking the reviews of this place ain great but its cheep, think again! You turn up and the first thing they want is more money off you to rent sheets for the rooms, is not like when they charge you for towls and you can choose to bring your own and its non negotiable, i said i was...

Main thing to this hostel is the location its less than a 5 min walk to the underground and mainline rail. Its 15min walk to the central station and attractions. The room was large very clean with typical type beds for Europe. Lift to all floors and there are stains on the corridor carpets Staff are really friendly helpful with...

In this hostel you have to pay extra for the sheets. That was an unpleasant surprise when we arrived. Also, we didnt have a good experience because when we arrived at the room all the beds were messy, so we didnt know if there were already some people in there (they dont have numbers on the bed, so its not...

The hotel is dirty and very noisy. I paid 215 euros for two nights, without breakfast. Nobody clean the room and I must wait at the recepcion during 45 minutes. I do not recommend it to anybody¡¡¡¡ In general the hotel is very dirty, not only my room.

Recently visited Hamburg and stayed here, just one station away from HBF. Great staff, nice atmosphere, quite and sufficiently large rooms. Only downside is lack of variety in breakfast menu. Not so much options to ear nearby, had to again city centre. Otherwise, will totally recommend it. Ps. if you will take bahn from Hbf, it will cost 1.5 euro...

It took almost an hour to check in and about the same time for check out. There are no toiletries, napkins or towels provided and one has to pay for the same, which is absurd. There is hardly any staff and almost no restaurants except for breakfast which also is very average and standard breakfast. No one to answer at...

For everyone that plans to go to Hamburg, Germany, I highly recommend that you don't choose A&O Hamburg City as your hostel. In general, my experience with hostels has been quite positive so I really don't mind sharing the same space with other people for one/ two nights. However, this time it didn't go so well. Not because of the...
