Our room was not located in the castle but in some sort of old building 500m further down the road. I could not walk it, it was very muddy and raining. When we arrived at the reception they said to take our car to the room. Also for the breakfast we had to take the car to the main building,...

We were in the area on business and although this is very much geared towards business guests, it has a much more intimate feel than the usual big corporate city centre hotels. Rooms are stylish and smack of quality (sanitary ware, linens etc) and the staff are friendly and helpful. Only slight criticism is that we did not particularly enjoy...

A colleague and I stayed on the way back to Frankfurt airport. Beautiful location stunning buildings and great restaurant with professional and friendly staff. Food was fabulous not the cheapest but excellent. Setting of restaurant was stunning with al fresco dining. Look forward to returning.

Lovely hotel with a real sense of style. This is a stylish ultra modern hotel, the level of food was outstanding as was the service. Everyone spoke excellent English. The breakfast was beautifully presented and catered for all food types. The highlight being a massive slab of honeycomb and selection of bio wild honey types and excellent fresh bread. I...

Jagschloss Kranichstein is a beautiful place, run by exceptionally kind and professional staff. We (couple, mid-twenties, travelling by car with a small-medium dog) had the privilege of staying in Jagdschloss Kranichstein both on our transit to Italy and back to The Netherlands. The experiences were different, as we stayed in the junior suite in the annex Kavaliersbau first and stayed...

Overall it's very nice hotel, located in the refublished old castle. Rooms are clean and tidy. Dog was very pleased with special space organised! Couple items that i recommend is to organise deliveries later during the day. Truck is quite noise in the morning. Water supply was not stable in the room. For some reasons in the evening water in...

Had a wonderful experience spending Christmas at this great hotel. Great staff. A gourmet restaurant is part of the experience. The renovated rooms are large and well appointed. Great value for the price.

I like this hotel, it had many nice sophisticated touches, 3 trails to walk and a pretty well equipped room. The main drawback was the possibility to be staying in the annex which is 200m down a mud path away from hotel. It would have been a really relaxing walk but it was raining .. Oh dear. I changed rooms...

I have spent 3 nights in this recently renovated hotel. It is located in an old castle but all the interior has been upgraded to modern comfort. It has a nice park and pond outside. The bar/restaurant is very nice with a warm atmosphere. A good place to enjoy a coffee or a drink on a winter afternoon/night. Food is...

I had a room in the "new building, ground floor" simply not good: too noisy, just in front of the ramp to access the hotel... not a great view: employees' cars and old building, very noisy because you hear people walking on the first floor, and at the end of the corridor there is a service room that is used...
