When booking it based on pictures , I was quiet worried cause the room is tiny. But after actually stayed for 3 nights, National hotel will definitely on my fav list. The room is smal (often for the city-central located hotel) but suprisingly spacious lobby. The room and bathroom is clean, Wifi is free, available parking lot. Friendly and humorious... More

Came to Frankfurt very last minute as my daughter had been admitted to the hospital whilst on holiday. This hotel was on the tram line so quick and easy to get back and forth to the hospital, however at night the area was a bit dodgy. Too many odd men and women hanging around the streets and I am not... More

First, the Hotel Receptionist was very unprofessional. He hasn't looked up at me a single time, the entire time he was working and barely gave me any information. Then, I go to my room and I find that there is no AC. Plus, I booked a King size room, yet I found two single beds pushed next to each other,... More

Our room was adequate. It appeared to be a single room although the bed was big it was against the wall . The spare bedding was on top of the wardrobe . The safe in the wardrobe was not fixed . The bathroom had what was needed for an overnight stay . It was not in a pleasant area and... More

A decent affordable hotel in the vicinity of Frankfurt Hbf railway station. It is close to the Main river. It is also a kilometer away from the Frankfurt Cathedral and the Frankfurt Parliament building.

We visited this hotel for two days and found it very comfortable. While the building and decoration seem to be from the 1950s, everything is well maintained. The breakfast buffet is very good. Rooms are clean, bed and pillows very nice. Perhaps they could add a few TV channels in english for international visitors as most of them are in... More

I stayed for one night with business. Very convenient to the railway station - 5 minute walk. However, as a female I was pleased to have a colleague with me on this occasion as it isn't the nicest of areas. The hotel is certainly not 4 stars but the reception staff were very helpful and pleasant. The breakfast was nice... More

I was charged for one night anyway. trying to get this resolved sent in all the info --they responded someone else provided them with my card. So very untrue as I live... More

The hotel is in the dodgy part of the main railway station. There are many homeless people in the area. But I felt perfectly fine. The biggest surprise was the interior. It's still in the original 1950s style. I absolutely loved the entrance hall and bar area. Kidney armchairs and everything one wants to see in a 1950s hotel. The... More

This is a very nice old hotel located close to Frankfurt`s main railway station. It has a very comfortable bar where you can relax and enjoy a drink. The staff are very cheerful, friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean with comfortable beds. The buffet breakfast is very good with a wide selection to choose from.
