A very comfortable 3 nights here for the New Year. The hotel is in walking distance of the centre and there are buses and trams within 5 minutes too. The room was spacious, warm and comfortable with an excellent shower. Tea and coffee is provided. We had a plentiful buffet style breakfast and also asked for scrambled eggs which we had. There is also a bar. The staff were friendly and polite and Mikail was very helpful indeed when we were asking about transport and things to see and do. I can totally recommend this hotel as being a pleasure to stay in.

I stayed here in room 301 with a friend. The room had two single beds and was very spacious with also a good bathroom size. The breakfast was buffet style and ample. The hotel is located a 5 minute walk from 2 tram stops and 15 minutes to the old town area.

Spent a night there in October to see relatives. Hotel has super service, friendly, great rooms. There are elevators and the beds are comfortable. The room I had had a tiny bit of street noise which I feel perfectly normal in downtown Frankfurt. You should have a glass of wine in the library before going to bed! The breakfast is outstanding.

If you want a small hotel room that doesn't feel small, then you should try Frankfurt's Villa Orange. Located about a 10 minute walk from the train station, it is easy to get to and find. The single bed was very comfortable, bathroom more than nice. The only thing I wonder about how it is in summer. I was on the top floor (4th) and could not figure out how to open the window. I didn't see any air conditioning so I can only image it's like an oven in July/August. Breakfast is fine. Although I wasn't interested, I saw someone getting fried eggs from kitchen. The surrounding area is very quiet. There are a restaurants within a five minute walk.

The location of this hotel is excellent as it is within walking distance to Zeil Street for shopping and Berger Street for food. The surrounding neighborhood is very peaceful and quiet. The setting setting of the hotel was very cosy. My room was spacious and clean. It was a comfortable stay. The employees here were very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast selection was quite limited but you still get choices of bread, cold cut, cheese, yoghurt and fresh fruits.

Thank you, Villa Orange, for a very homey stay. My room was super comfortable, with windows on two walls, nice linens, comfortable bed, hot shower. The location is perfect - very close to the main train station, but yet in a residential neighborhood. And the breakfast was fantastic - I loved the space, the food, the atmosphere. Thank you!!

This was my second time to Frankfurt and this hotel, and proves that it's always worthwhile to come back to a nice place twice, so you get to see the details and the operation. Last time I came, I had a great chat with one of the receptionists, and it was like old fiends week when I came back. The night before we left, my wife and I invited him and his wife to a drink in the library and we got along famously (even though none of us is famous). So, this is a place that makes you feel welcome and at home. I am amazed at all the extra work that goes into an organic hotel. It is a huge commitment to make because they literally have to create their own supply chain for food and room supplies. There's no easy way to being organic and no way to do what other hotels do -- just call a mainline broadline distributor and wait for delivery. I think Villa Orange deserves a lot of credit for doing this. They not only provide organic food. Everything is organic -- the bed, the soaps, you name it. You can tell from the fragrance of the place. They use flowers and plants instead of oil-based airfresheners that are often toxic. They deserve to be seen as pioneers of organic who go beyond food, to all the other products we use in our lives. That said, the breakfast is terrific. We filled up and skipped lunch, then enjoyed an early dinner -- paid no price in terms of weight gain and paid for nice dinners out of money saved from skipping or going light on lunch.

Villa Orange is a long-standing favorite for me - I used to stay there for almost 6 months more than 15 years ago. Not much has changed in the meantime: The location is still excellent: Close to the city center (Konstablerwache is 10 mins by feet) but in a very quiet side road in a residential hood. The building is tastefully renovated (it used to be an old's people home before it was turned into a hotel). It's not new anymore but eveything is in good shape. Rooms are clean and spaceous - so are the bathrooms. Excellent organic breakfast with a small but decent selection of fresh items including salmon and fresh fruit salad. The hotel doesn't have a restaurant which is no disadvantage since there are plenty of options closebly. The hotel features a small bar with reasonnable prices. Clear go!
