The Hotel Greifennest is on a great place to visit Rostock. The daily changing breakfast surprises you during your stay - positivly. Everyday new things are prepared so that their offer never becomes boring. The Team was friendly and gave us good recommendations for the city and surroundings. A good place to be if you visit Rostock.

Very qwerky hotel, everywhere you looked there was something odd, for example a suitcase stuck to the ceiling, hats as lampshades, old vacumcleaner as a planter etc etc. Guinea pigs in reception very cute. The staff are very helpful and they have secure private parking. The breakfast though was a bit expensive.

I stayed here with my boyfriend over a weekend in mid-September as we explored Rostock and Warnemuende. The hotel is super easy to get to from the main station and the bus station, and we were welcomed very warmly by the reception staff. There were even mini muffins for guests on the desk, which was a great start! The whole... More

If you're thinking of this as a hotel you need to find somewhere else to stay. This is a backpacker type of place. I just wanted to find somewhere to sleep until departure of the ferry following day. For this purpose it has been great. No fancy style, just clean and functional. Great for me. BUT if you're looking for... More

The room was very comfortable, well furnished with with a high quality bed, nice bathroom, clean, we'll lit and with an attractive design. This reflected the entire hostel, with a large courtyard and a balcony to spend time on. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only negative was that you have to pay for Internet, and while only €2... More

Hotel GreifenNest is a small but very well managed hotel, ideally situated for visits to the mediaeval centre of the hanseatic town of Rostock. The Hotel calls itself a backpacker hotel, but it's actually a very good choice for any kind of traveler, including disabled persons. They only offer breakfast and bar-service (primarily very good beer) and they sport a... More

I stayed here with my girlfriend for 2 nights. We got the superior double room and I must say it was extremely comfortable. The sheets are really soft and the shower first thing in the morning will definitely wake you up. The room is spacious, bright and quiet for a good nights sleep. Breakfast is really good. The coffee and... More

A really great welcome from the staff who were really helpful and friendly with tips for the city. Nice lounge area in the backyard, nice clean room and good car parking space, would definitely stay here again. We had a room at the front of the hotel and it was really noisy though, so ask for a room at the... More
