An absolutely wonderful place of calm, peace and friendly smiling faces. The hotel itself is clean, well maintained and traditional in its decor. Comfortable beds, great bathroom, with dressing robes and slippers. I didn't expect the robe and slippers but was very happy they were there! What really makes this hotel great, though, is the staff. Very, very friendly, polite...

Although in a residential area, this hotel is in a great location. Really helpful staff that went out of their way to sort out some details for me. Really comfortable room and quiet. Restaurant food was the best I've had for a long time. Thank you Hotel Imperial.

Cologne can be a busy city with a lot of hotels fully booked. This happened to us when we planned a last minute trip to cologne. Fortunately the Imperial Hotel had a room left. Pro's: The room is quiet, large, bathroom has a bathtub Con's The room is outdated, had a view of the metal vent of the kitchen below...

This was our third stay at this Hotel. It is in quiet area. Always a warm welcome from the owner and staff members. The room was spotless and so was the dining room. The breakfast buffet full with delicious items. Something for everyone's taste. I would recommend this hotel to other travelers. Sincerely, Happy Travelers

Upon our arrival we were warmly welcomed by the owner of the hotel (Frank) who told us all about the places to go over a nice cold kolsch. Cosy rooms, nice breakfast and very handy for the metro although we preferred the 15/20 minute walk into the centre. Quiet area and no issues with late access to the hotel after...

We have spend one night here during our visit of the Christmas market together with friends. This hotel has the perfect location and is at walking distance to the city centre. The hotel is clean and on top of that a very friendly staff! Free of charge parking place is close to the hotel.

This is a quiet hotel with very friendly service. Have stayed there twice, and will continue to stay there when I travel to cologne. The rooms are classic euro rooms, not oversized but also not cramped. There is a small bar in the lobby, and the restaurant has good food. Cologne is not very American credit card friendly, so the...

This Hotel has very classic style, the cocktail bar looks very dark and maybe not so nice, but for work travel or one night stay is perfect: good position in the city, the rooms are very quite and the staff really kind with the guests. Furthermore, the rooms are really clean. I never tried food and relax area.

This is a very quiet hotel in a very quiet residential neighborhood. The lobby bar has the ambiance of a morgue. A very quiet morgue. But I didn't book it for the nightlife, I booked it because it was easy walking distance to the conference I was attending, and so it was just fine for my stay. Nice staff, clean...
