Very large modern hostel, about 20 minutes walk from the centre, across a large bridge. Decent facilities, including a small bar. Food is ok, though nothing exciting. The wifi is ok in the lobby, but non-existent in the rooms, which is a big drawback for me. Staff were friendly

This Hostel is not located in the City Center you need to cross the bridge over the Rihne - take the bridge wich is to your left not the one infront of you it will take you the double time - or take the lokal transport - So the hostel is brand new, fancy but a double room is nearly... More

For a non expensive weekend including food in a room of my own 120 Euros. The Hostel is in ideal location from Old Town it has the look and feel of a 3 Star Hotel would highly recommend for a Family outing that should not cost a small fortune

Yes!!! I wish there were hostels like that in all cities! I had a single room with bathroom. It was quiet clean and for that price you can't argue about. It feels like an empty room with a couple ikea furnitures but that's all I wanted and I was a happy man! Service is good. Wifi only at the reception... More

... it was ok. For a YMCA/YWCA quite a nicely designed property in a good location. Liked the breakfast. Didn't like the filthy carpet (why a carpet after all in place with such frequent guest changes?), the locker room smell in the room and hallway and the shades which didn't block out the sunlight properly.

I was awoken @ 4.30AM when all the lights were turned on by two loud drunks who the front desk staff let in. They proceeded to speak very loudly and kept myself and the other guest awake for the rest of the night. When loud drunk people show up at the front door at four in the morning there has... More

Maybe the city hostel is appropriate for Germans but I traveled here with a group of twenty people and we were hassled non-stop by the rude staff. Among my group that was staying to attend a professional conference is Dusseldorf, there were Asians, Americans and South Americans, and we were treated disrespectfully during our stay. An older grey-haired man that... More
