I absolutely loved the hotel. The staff was extremely helpful in providing directions and tips on where to go. The room was spacious and newly renovated. My room was on the 5th floor, facing the train station, but fear not, the window were excellent and I did not hear any noise. Breakfast was delicious and provided a big variety. I...

I have been to Mainz many times over the years on business and so am quite familiar with the city layout and hotels. We arrived at Frankfurt Airport from Calgary, hopped on the S8 Train, rolled out the front door on the Mainz Hbf and just so easy, here we are at our home base for another Euro rail trip....

We decided to stay in Mainz one night, before meeting friends in Frankfurt. The hotel is literally across the street from the train station. You can see the hotel sign as you exit the station. Clean, comfortable, and quiet. We walked all over the city, and had no trouble navigating to the farmers markets, the Guttenburg Museum, and the church...

We chose this hotel for an overnight break in our journey down to Austria. Arrived in the dark after ferry delays and 6 hours of driving, the reception staff were really helpful and spoke perfect English, very reasonably priced parking 100 yards away. Rooms were just what we needed, very clean and comfortable and the buffet breakfast superb!!

We decided on Mainz as a location for day trips to surrounding cities for our annual Christkindlmarkt visit. Hotel Hammer is directly across the street from the main train station which made it incredibly convenient. We loved everything about the hotel, the friendly staff, great rooms (we stayed in a penthouse double), very good variety on the breakfast buffet (included...

This hotel is right across the street from the Mainz transportation hub: trains/busses/trams. An easy walk to all the sites. Wonderful breakfast buffet and nice rooms. It was a much nicer hotel than we expected.

We stayed here for a few days in August. The hotel has a great location. It is across from the train station, so you don't need to drag you luggage very far. There are several cafes and restaurants in the station and the surrounding area. At least one of the food kiosks seemed to be open 24 hours. All the...

Very good, clean facility, good breakfast, free Wi-Fi, nice service, TV, good beds, bathroom, not far from Central Railway Station. It is not clear, why the door is closed at night time, Mainz is very nice town, personally, we visited Mainz for Rock Concerts.

Very good value modest hotel close to station. Rooms air conditioned and well appointed. Helpful staff and easy to catch bus to old part of town. Probably a 15 minute walk to the Dom. Only cheap eats around the hotel but not far from good eating in old part of town.
