Apart from the architects achievements I don't know why anyone would stay here. Parking is not signed and from the shopping centre "mitte" entrance doors to building are locked. This means driving in a circle or 2 and then walking around the block to find the unsigned entrance from the street. The actual hotel lobby is unmanned, but a friendly...

Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in the Fall. First up, it's the second tallest hotel in Germany and most importantly, the hotel itself is located on the very upper floors. This hotel occupies the 27th floor of the tower which is also called Jen tower and was built by the GDR government. The views out the windows are breathtaking of the city and surrounding mountains and for meals you can go to the roof top restaurant where you can enjoy the views even better.
