#16 of 32 hotels in Almeria
The Hotel La Perla is located in the heart of Almeria, at Purchena door, next to the Cathedral, the Alcazaba and the historic and commercial center of Almeria city. The “Ruta de la Tapa” is in the area of the hotel and the port of Almeria just 10m walking. Our most popular services are a cafe, restaurant, car park (in the area), free internet in the entire hotel and a social lounge. From our reception, which operates 24 hours a day, you can get tourist information, events and information from the gastronomy of the area. Our hotel was the first to open its doors in the city, knowed for the Spaghetti Western actors who stayed in our rooms, actors as Clint Eastwood, Lee Van Cleef and directors as Sergio Leone. We offer comfortable rooms with an excellent value accommodation and fully equipped with TV, air conditioning / heating, telephone, safe and bathroom with hairdryer.

Can't fault this place as a base for exploring the area on foot/by bus. Reception staff always helpful, complimentary bottle of water when checking in. Breakfast has plenty of variety and is well worth getting. No bar but lots within a short walking distance.

If this is your first stay in almeria then you will find it hard to match the location of this hotel. It is about a 15 min walk away from the city's combined train and bus station at the top of paseo almeria in the heart of the city. 2 of the must c sites the alcazaba and the mirador statue of christ are a 15 min climb from hotel. The rooms are adequate comfortable bed flat screen TV (could do with foreign channels for Dutch American German French English visitors) good size bathroom and power shower. The reception staff have good local knowledge and never failed to respond to requests. The town hall and tourist office is a 5 min walk away and should be your first stop to pick up the info to plan your visit.

We have just returned from La Perla hotel, the location of the hotel was the best, very central, there was a little mix up at the start of the holiday when the receptionist advised that there had been a double booking,we advised that we had only booked once,Love holidays clarified it was in fact their error and apologised,we were being picked up at 7.50 in the morning but the restaurant didn't open until 8 but we asked if we could have a take a way coffee and the lady advised we could and even arranged some pastries and bottle of water and orange juice,we thought this was very nice, great value for money in a central location

There are a few good things about this hotel like; it's cheap, well located, staff are friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is varied and plentiful. But I feel all those good points are overshadowed by the noise at night. You're trying to get to sleep, but there is nonstop banging, shouting, laughing and even dogs barking..!! All inside the hotel..!! Must be the lack of soundproofing. After the second night I bought some earplugs and these helped a bit (not entirely) for the subsequent nights.

This was an excellent hotel, check in and out was speedy with no fuss and we were even give a bottle of chilled water when we checked in. The room was small but clean and comfortable...what more do you need. The location was fantastic for the surrounding tapa bars
