It was right across the street from the Mezquita, so the location was just right. The staff was great, always offering tips on where to eat like true Cordobans and we were not disappointed. Our room was very simple and the bathroom was small, but honestly, it served its purpose and were not the type to stay in our rooms... More

We chose Hostal Azahar for our Cordoba visit, and we absolutely liked it. The hotel is just next to the Mezquita de Córdoba, very convenient for your Cordoba visit. Front desk is available at limited hours, at night you can enter the hotel with the keys provided to you. Our rooms was very clean, nicely decorated. If you have a... More

This is a fantastic little gem of a hotel located next right next to the Mezquita. This is the second time we have stayed here because not only are the staff friendly and lovely, but also it is such good value for what you get. Every day they make coffee and tea, which is provided for free in the hotel's... More

Lovely little place to stay - close to all attractions, very friendly, helpful staff. Loved getting a personal email before I left explaining how to get there and where to park. Smallish rooms but on par with other rooms we stayed in for comparable pricing. Found it to be clean with comfortable beds.

We were kindly greeted by a staff member (it was a long trip and unfortunately I can't remember his name) who went the extra mile to make you feel welcomed. The room was average but comfortable and clean. Excellent if you just need a place to sleep at night and avoid the horrible afternoon heat if you travel during the... More

Small room and bathroom but entirely adequate for the 2 nights we stayed. Very clean. The bed was somewhat hard. The staff were very friendly and helpful and spoke some English. We really enjoyed the free afternoon tea/coffee and cake. A generous touch in a hotel with no catering otherwise. Plenty of cafes close by for breakfast. We had no... More

We arrived in the afternoon without a reservation and were kindly greeted by a staff member (every staff member was incredibly generous). He immediately gave us a room without payment or really anything. The room has wifi, great hot water pressure in the showers, but had a faint mildew scent. We paid the next morning and they happily let us... More

This little jem is right by La Mezquita a site we really enjoyed. A short walk to the Roman bridge and lots of other great sites. The staff at the hotel were very helpful. The rooms were very clean and there is a nice area for tea and coffee.

In front of the Mezquita, and within walking distance of everything. More a small hotel, than hostel.Spotlessly clean, airconditioner and very helpful staff. My husband had problems with a tooth, they made an appointment, called a taxi and within an hour everything was fixed.Couldn't recommend this place enough. We are on a long trip, now one year, and consider this one,of top places we have stayed.
