The hotel centrally located at the historic center. A few tourist attractions (Picasso Museum, Cathedral, Roman Theatre), restaurants and shopping center are on walking distance. The hotel is clean and the rooms are (small) but comfortable with TV (cable), Wi-Fi, Safe and a bathroom with an excellent shower. Breakfast is simple with fresh orange juice, milk, good coffee/thee, cornflakes and... More

Casa de Las Mercedes is a great, centrally located small hotel. It has limited facilities but those it has are excellent. Really helpful and friendly staff made our stay there delightful. We would return either for a couple of nights en route or for a longer stay. There is much to see in Malage and the weather in October is... More

Very centrally located hotel. very nice and friendly manager. This speaks very good english, what spain is not self-evident. there are only few rooms, which is advantageous because not many people are in the hotel. The rooms are furnished very classical. The courtyard of the hotel looks fantastic with its flowers and its typical wall decoration. Breakfast was okay. otherwise... More

Our stay in Casa de las Mercedes was short but very pleasant. Quiet place right in the centre of the greatest Malaga attractions that includes Cathedral, Picasso Museum, sandy beeches, Town Hall and Rose Gardens. The owners of this hotel were very helpful in advising where to go and what to see. Continental breakfast simple, fresh and fulfilling, rooms with... More

This hotel sealed one of the most memorable and enjoyable holidays that we have ever had. Tucked along a narrow and pretty street in the centre of the historic heart of Malaga, it is quiet and secluded; but within 2 minutes walk, you can immerse yourself in the hustle and bustle of the city and all it has to offer.... My wife and I stayed 2 hot nights in august in this well placed city centre hotel. Although our room was somewhat small, all the neccessary facilities were there, including much needed air conditioning! Attractive building and decor and a good value buffet breakfast! Carolina on reception was charming - most helpful. Steve & Sue Hewitt UK

I can't find one negative thing to say about Casa de las Mercedes. My husband and I spent 2 nights here before meeting up with friends in another city and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I didn't even realize until the end of our stay that there's a 2nd floor - I didn't hear anything above us at all. The... More
