This small family run hostal is in a charming, pretty, quiet street in the old town. There are locals and tourists staying in the street. There is no noise at night, and even though I was in a room at the front, I had really peaceful nights' sleep, leaving the windows onto the balcony open. The rooms are a decent size,... More

Large, airy, spaciois room. Fridge. TV. Fantastic location on a residential pedestrianised street in the old town. I slept with my French door open as I like to have fresh air instead of aircon. However I did have to pull the shutter down most of the way to block out the street light directly opposite my balcony. Lovely little balconette... More

For sure, I would stay in the hotel El Gallo again. We stayed for 13 days in this family-run hotel. Free Wi-Fi. The owners are very helpful. We had a room with a terrace - side sea view and side mountain view. Muchas gracias por todo, amigos!

Quite a large restaurant and bar. The bar seems to attract locals and the restaurant tourists. Service was very good. Food was generally average but good value. Recommend the calamari and the salad was good too. Excellent value wine. Worth trying if you are in the area.

Located in the Old Town and only a few minutes walk from the many restaurants and bars. The sea front and beaches are also within a 10 minute walk. Our room was well furnished with a modern bathroom and spotlessly clean. The Hostel also has a thriving and popular restaurant offering a range of well priced food. Our meal here... More

Fantastic value for money. A large, spotless room and bathroom with a good sized balcony. The owner was lovely and friendly. The hotel is right in the centre of the beautiful old town but we didn't hear a thing from our room on a night.

Location was right in the middle of Old Town, but far away from any noise etc. Staff were very friendly, restaurant was excellent. The room was cleaned everyday with clean towels. We had a terrace which we spent most nights having a nightcap and reminiscing about the days outings. The wifi in the room was free and very good. Will definitely... More

We discovered El Gallo because we stayed right across the street. It's spotless, spacious and modest in the nicest way, with a lovely courtyard type space at the rear. The service was professional and prompt and feels very different to the scores of places along the seafront or in the square. It's easygoing and low key. Nt they take great... More

We loved the location, very close to the old town, center and waterfront. It is a small, quiet street and you better do not have a large car when you take the corner into that street ... you can see the scratchmarks on the wall of people who did not make it ... driving another 200 mtrs down that narrow... “I had room No 7, with private terrace - but there is also a terrace for everyone to use. Room 7 is perfect for a single traveller but there are also rooms with 2 beds. There is noise from the ventilation system in the evening but normally you are out anyway in the evenings - it stopped at around 23 hours.”
