The review we read promised views over the Alhambra, it was fantastic definitely not a disappointment. The site of the Alhambra all lit up whilst lying in bed was spectacular. We booked the Persian room. The decor was excellent. The room had a shower and a deep bath, just what we wanted to soak our aching limbs after walking around...

One of the finds of the decade! Beautiful rooms and super friendly staff. Set in a quiet part of town but close enough to be totally accessible and yet away from tourist hotspots. Very natural and charming.

This is a one of a kind B&B - in a vertical stacked house on a steep hillside on the hill holding the ancient town opposite the Alhambra. Half the houses in the neighborhood aren't even located on streets. We booked the top floor room - actually a 2-floor unit (they will carry your bags up all the stairs). The...

The hosting suggested we park our car outside the town and that is really helpful. Driving in the old city of Granada should be a big task. We took a taxi from our parking lot to this hotel which we reserved on booking. The rooms are really cozy and nice. The decoration are pretty special, of course the views outside...

I wanted to love this B&B, and I did love parts of it. The views of the Alhambra are extraordinary, the rooms were beautiful, and the beds were comfortable. I would return here with a small, light bag if the sewage smell is addressed. As other reviewers have mentioned, my room on the top floor had a strong scent sewage...

We loved Granada and the views from the accommodation were superb. We stayed in the Persia room, it was lovely and spacious but our only issue was the smell from the toilet. It was putred not the normal drains smell it literally made me feel sick. We mentioned it but if you are planning on staying there it might be...

I've written this after reading the lone 3 star review below, which I find a bit perplexing under the circumstances. Solar Montes Claros is in essence a house in the old, original part of Granada - El Albayzin - that has been transformed into a wonderful oasis of calm for guests, and yet managed to retain an air of authenticity....

If you want the authentic Granada experience with amazing views of the Alhambra Palace then I could not recommend more highly. However, you must be physically fit as just to get to the front door from the road is up a steep incline and thirty odd steps. We were on the top floor in the 'Saba Room' which is on...

This is a hard review for me to write after seeing all the 5-star reviews. And, I don't want to come off as a snobby traveler - but I feel a need to share our experience. First, no question, if having a view out of your window to see the Alhambra (especially at night) is important -- this is the...

We booked two rooms in August and had a fantastic stay, amazingly decorated and gave the holiday an authentic feel whilst visiting the Alhambra. On our arrival to Granada we followed the precise directions to the over night stay car park. We phoned to say we had arrived and within minutes a taxi came to take us to the hotel....
