I had a pleasant two-night stay here in December. The staff was friendly, and the continental breakfast was quite tasty! The six-person bunk room was a bit cramped, but perfect for a solo traveller on a budget. The atmosphere of the place is also quite conducive to meeting other travelers. I definitely recommend El Granado!

The wooden bunk beds were much nicer than other hostels. Staff was really informative and friendly, and the hostel offered a great value breakfast! I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone.

Room and bathrooms all spotless, great breakfast for 3€, shared kitchen very clean as well. Walking distance to cathedral and all important sites in beautiful Granada, even the Alhambra was about a 20-25 minutes walk, overall amazing stay!

the bathroom smelled bad and had mould in the shower and a/c pipe, the bed moved a lot everytime I laid in bed... I must admit though, that the staff was very friendly and welcoming. Just keep in mind that this is a hostel and not a hotel.

Well located (5min walk to the cathedral), popular and academic area. We hope we can travel more often to this lovely place. Granada is a marvellous place to visit, even in december. Clean and quiet place too see. Thank you very much. Christophe

Beautifully furnished and decorated apartment, but unfortunately our sleep was disturbed by wafer-thin walls, monotonous reggaeton beats and merry-making from our partying neighbours. This hotel really could be a gem, but it depends whether you are unfortunately with your neighbours. The reception closes at 12 so although we informed the reception twice, and the guests were warned, there was no-one...

El Granado is very clean, cute, cheap, and in an excellent location. The staff was very welcoming and helpful and the other guests were friendly and respectful. I had a great experience here and would definitely reccommend it to others!

I've stayed in hostels all over the world, and I have to say this place is maybe the best value I've ever encountered. It was actually cheaper for us to book a single room than to stay separately in the dorms, and we loved it so much we booked extra nights, and even came back for another visit. The staff...

Reviews are very subjective so all I can say is that this hostel was just what I needed after hopping from one to another for a week or so experiencing the highs and lows of hostel life. El Granado just seems slightly different - cosy. quiet and calm with a more personal touch. The staff are very friendly and chatty...

Nice hostel in an ancient house with a patio. Goodlocation, close to the centre in a XIX century street next to the University botanical gardens. Small but cosy communal room (living - dining and kitchen at the same time.) Really friendly and helpful staff. The only drawback is the size of the rooms, witch are very small with 3 tier...

“I slept on the top of three bunk beds, which was a bit of a pain (having to climb past people to get in and out of bed). If you're in the shared male dorm don't go for bed 9. Apart from that it was great. ”
