The public areas of the hotel were lovely and very very impressive -- but our room was in serious need of work -- carpeting worn in spots, bathroom was small, furniture needed updating and that was king bed for pygmy kings. One feature: a heated toilet seat! We never figured out how to turn it off either! The location is... More

It all depends on what you really want from an hotel. We want comfort (of course) but mainly we want something that we don't usually have, like we don't want "homely", for instance. Well, the Hotel Alhambra Palace certainly isn't that, it's fabulous. We love the Islamic architecture and decorative styles, that's why we wanted to visit the Alhambra itself.... More

My husband and I spent only one night here on an overnight visit to Granada to tour the Alhambra in November. We only wish we had had more time to enjoy this gorgeous hotel with impeccable guest services. Because we had been traveling for several days, we had only eaten a variety of snacks and small tapas before arriving here.... More

This hotel deserved every one of its four stars! It's a brilliant location and the service is seamless. If you're visiting the Palace, it's only a short walk up the hill, and the route is signposted. You need to take a taxi to the hotel from the train station, but should only cost about five- ten Euros. Beautiful food, spacious... More

This beautiful, historic, luxury hotel is centrally located to the Alhambra but is a bit of a walk, though a scenic walk, to the Plaza Nueva, Sacromonte and the Albaicin area. The reception staff was exceptionally friendly and checked us in immediately. The lobby is quite large with comfortable seating, a nice bar and a lovely outdoor terrace overlooking the... More

We liked this place a lot. It had nice big rooms and friendly service. The bed was comfortable and king sized (amazing for Spain!! It was actually two twins joined securely together and with king sized sheets!) and we ate in the restaurant very happily. The views at night over Granada are stunning. The nice thing about the restaurant was... More

A long way from being a 5 star hotel, rooms are tired, decor is not consistent, staff is close to 4 star, but the location is great and downtown Granada is fun and exciting. I’m not sure Granada has The Great Hotel, but this is not it.

Dear guest, We appreciate your feedback and your help to improve. Our rooms were renovated in 2013, but keeping on the traditional atmosphere of our property. As we are a landmarked property, the renovations are not always so quick as we would like. Anyway, every low season, we make new soft renovations, including rooms. We look forward to see you... We stayed at this hotel for three nights. It is conveniently located right in front of the Alhambra complex. We were given room 408 which has a huge (probably 400 sf!) terrace overlooking the gardens and some of the buildings of the Alhambra. If you are planning to drive, make sure you get directions as we couldn't get the GPS... More

My stay here was flawless. This is a truly lovely hotel that gets everything right. It's in its own fairy tale world, removed from the sometimes unsavory hubbub of Granada and beautifully located near its namesake. Also within an easy, safe, comfortable walk is a splendid little gem of a museum, an imaginative fine dining restaurant and an impressive family-owned... More
