The place was an awesome combination of price and location. The room I stayed in was small and charming, it had a nice balcony on the street leading up to Alhambra and old Spanish tiled flooring. The best wasn't comfortable at all, but it was clean. I only stayed for the one night but it was definitely worth it for...

Right in the centre of the city and a "reception office" (joking) for Alhambra......our room was on the 2nd floor, hence a little difficult to carry the luggage as it had no elevator. the room faced the main road which leads to the entrance of Alhambra (around 15 minutes walk). We were fortunate to be there during the Good Friday...

The hostal's location is awesome. It's close to a city center, it's close to the Alhambra, it's close to everywhere. But if they close one little street that leads to it, you are in big trouble. We spent about two hours trying to find another way. Here comes another good thing about this hostal - the lady who owns the...

On street level it is known as "Pension" Austria. A better location from where to visit the Alhambra, is impossible and so is the best value for money! Ignore ALL the negative reviews. It is located 100+m from the arch entrance to the Alhambra, in the centre of souvenir shops, flamenco venues and restaurants. For an additional fee, you can...

My friend and I went to Granada on 4 May and looked for a cheap Hostal (we did not want the Ritz) so we made enquiries with the female Austrian receptionist on price per room. We were quoted a price of €25.00 per room (the rooms are 1 star rating in my opinion, so the price seemed very reasonable indeed)....

I was really surprised about this opinion. I desagree about your description of the situation. I can understand that you did understand 25 euros instead of 35 euros. Maybe my pronunciation was not so clear, but your friend asked me the price of a single room and I told him 25 euros. So it is clear it could not be...

extremely clean, super friendly staff who speak English. Location is outstanding, a 5 minute walk to the many of the most important sites. Rooms are small and mattresses are hard, but you can expect it in this very old area of town and at this price. I would return in a minute and would recommend to anyone one problem, but...

The garage was the reason why I chose this hostal and it did not disappoint. Ignore the reviews saying they couldn't find it: it's on the same street, 100meters further; and it's narrow but if I managed to fit my minivan there, I'm sure you can fit your compact there too. As for the hostal itself, it's clean but everything...

The place was ideally located. Not the cleanest place, but good enough. There was only one key available at check-in which was not ideal for 2 travelers. Then upon checkout, the receptionist charged us for a second key that we never received and was very rude about the situation. Definitely left us with a bad impression.
