We stayed in the "Brugas"room. It was dark and small, even for European standards. The window overlooked an alley. The room was furnished in an "antique" way. It contained a desk, desk chair and an armoire/closet. We put the desk chair in the bathroom, which was spacious compared to the room. We them moved the arm chair to the desk,...

Thank you for your comments. The extra armchair was placed in the room in order to provide additional comfort. Your point is well taken, however, and we have decided to remove the armchair. The Andalusian breakfast tradition is to serve a cold buffet and no hot dishes. We offer a large buffet with a variety of Serano Ham, home made...

We stayed in the "Brugas" room. The room was pretty small, even compared to European standards. I put the chair to the desk in the bathroom, which was pretty spacious compared to the rest of the room. We then pushed the armchair to the desk, to create space to easily go in and out of bed, especially at night. The...

We appreciate your feedback. Our standard rooms are more budget friendly and somewhat smaller than our Superior and Deluxe rooms. Your point about the armchair is well taken and although intended for comfort, it may indeed be too large for the space and we have removed it. Hot breakfast is not a tradition in Andalusia, however we have opted to...

We were overjoyed with this place. Perfectly located, gorgeous interior and comfortable, clean and well-decorated rooms. Ours had a balcony with a view of the Alhambra. The staff is also very friendly and helpful.

This was recommended by my father in law, a native of Sevilla, Spain who had stayed at this hotel twice while visited Granada. El Ladron de Ague is situated on a street that only pedestrians can access and walk on and faces a small river called "Rio Darro". A car or taxi can drive very close to the hotel and...

Great hotel in the hustle, bustle of Granada. Our room had a view of Alhambra, was large and extremely comfortable. The building is well kept and the inner courtyard is gorgeous and so peaceful. Sherry at 7 an extra treat. Staff were very helpful with information about the city and sites. Loved our stay and will stay again!

My husband and I spent two nights at El Ladron de Agua on our honeymoon. It was a wonderful experience--it is in an old Spanish building on a cobble stoned street, just next to a picturesque creek. Upon arriving, it doesn't look like much, when then you walk through a large wooden door and are greeted by a light, white,...

To start with what was good about our stay: our superior room was pleasant, clean, and comfortable; the hotel lobby feels like an oasis with a bright, modern take on a traditional courtyard and a gurgling fountain; and the hotel, in a modernized old building,is located close to the Cathedral and to the Alhambra. Although we paid for a better...

We are pleased you enjoyed you stay and would stay with us again. Your kind comments about Violeta is much appreciated; she is knowledgeable and very service minded. We stayed here over the 2nd UK May Bank holiday weekend and found it to be an elegant, stylish and understated yet aesthetic hotel. The room was on the 3rd floor and had a view of the Alhambra. Breakfast was not very elaborate but served in a cute little basement cellar. The location is the best bit, right opposite the...

Aside from all the usual things that you expect in a good hotel, I will list three things that we found exceptional, that you can't take for granted: 1. Water pressure in shower, could exfoliate the hide off an armadillo. 2. The best wifi, really exceptional. 3. Instead of researching, we went with recommendation from the front desk person. Both...

This hotel is right in the middle of things, right on the river, and right below the Alhambra, but it's a quiet oasis in the midst of hoardes of young people, tourists, and the general populace. It is within just minutes of walking to the mJor attractions and squares, yet when you walk through the door to the cool lobby...

A building from the 16th century has become a hotel, taking its spirit from the essence of Juan Ramon Jimenez's journey and his poems.
