We so much enjoyed this excellent place some years ago that that we returned to it for our Birthday - yes, we share one! Now run by Herr Most's son Damien and his girlfriend and is, if anything, better than ever. We had the same comfortable top floor room with one of the world's most dramatic views. Slept well. We...

Great little flat. Superb location. Owner extremely kind and helpful. Could have done with some dish cloths and cloths for washing cooker etc, and perhaps a spare rug for the bed.. Owner recommended great little restaurant near by - La Mancha Chica, which was excellent

First, the undeniable pro's of Casa Del Aljibe: (i) smack in the middle of the historic Albaycin district. Guest house only accessible via foot, via a range of narrow streets, which gives the place a certain charm; (ii) the view from the Alhambra (Alcazaba part, not the Nasride palace) is quite stunning; (iii) the owner came to meet us upon...

The room we had was nice, with eye for detail and decoration. Double bed a bit small but in general we liked the place and its location. It was the behaviour of the lady-manager who disappointed me and made me not fully enjoy this stay. My first phone call with her included a lot of rude swearing (unrepeatable here) while...

We stayed only one night but it was a wonderful experience. The owner was very attentive in helping us find a place to park and even came with us to do so. The room was very comfortable and the view of the Alhambra was amazing.

The "superior" accomodation is very well illustrated on the web, but the reality is very different. Very tiny place, extremely freezing in the night time. The only good thing is the view of the Alhambra, but not enough to justify the price we paid. The owner offered several services in the accomodation , on the advertising, that don't exist at...

I booked a superior room, and i am almost sure they didn't gave me the right one, the room was quite small. I was there with my girlfriend for new year's eve anf the room was freezing. NObody thoughts about warming it before. I had to ask to turn on the heater. Anyway was never hot. Thee weere ants all...

We arrived in Granada by car and Michael was outside the town on his scooter to meet us and guide us through the tiny lanes to our car park. However, with hindsight, we don't recommend bringing a car into the Albaicin, unless of course you are driving a Fiat Bambino!! Casa Del Aljibe is an authentic guesthouse and has a...

I stayed at Casa del Aljibe for a week and have enjoyed every moment! Located at the top of the Albaicin, the view couldn't be better. The rooms have a lot of charme and are very carefully decorated. Kitchen and fridge made self-catering possible and saved me a lot of money, and the bed was extremely comfortable. I plan to...

We spent 4 nights here and just loved this magical place. The view of the Alhambra from the little deck off our room was picture-perfect. The old Moorish area in which this accommodation is situated is incredibly beautiful. It is a bit of a steep walk from the town, but we negotiated several routes and they were all interesting. We...
