Set out like a Ryad, rooms accessed from internal balconies. Peaceful, friendly and excellent value although rooms were not en suite. Set in an old narrow street close to great little bars, if a little "rough". We were able to park relatively easily within two hundred metres. Loved every minute!

The Pension Macarena was very comfortable, clean and well run. We thought the interior of building itself was beautiful. The bedroom was clean and comfortable and the bathrooms were also immaculately clean. The staff were extremely helpful and obliging - even happy to get up very early when we had to leave to catch an early flight. The location was...

Very nice place and very clean! Very good room, large and clean, as so the bathroom! The location is perfect and you can feel the atmosphere outside! It's in a busy neighborhood but it's very quite by night! We loved it!!

The pension is owned by a nice family who are very welcoming but could not speak English. Since I speak Spanish it was not a problem but my friends had to have me when they needed something like towels etc. By the way, you need to ask for ac and tv remote controls and towels from the reception. When we...

Yes for a budget hostal this place is first rate, fantastic Andalusian decor as the rooms are built round an inner courtyard. We had a shared bathroom, but not a problem out of season. Our room had a double and single bed, spotlessly clean, with towels and sachets of soap. The bedroom window overlooked the inner courtyard so there was...

I was there in a 3 day trip to Seville for work. Decided to stay at this hostel because of its location: it's very close to the Alameda (short 10 minute walk) and located in a great neighborhood. Staff were friendly and nice. The room was a reasonable size. I had a two bed with a shared bathroom. Bathroom was...

We hadn't been staying in pensions in Spain; however, Seville was practically booked out when I got around to booking accommodation, and it was either go much more expensive or go plainer. For some reason I thought we were getting a room with shared facilities...but, not, our very own small bathroom (this is important for older persons who often find...

Good news first: you will hardly find a cleaner place when it comes to floors and bathrooms. As to the bed cloth: They are so thin that you can see the flowers of the mattress through them, there are holes in it (!) - and because they are much too tiny, they roll up during the night and make you...

The pension is cheap, clean, comfortable and with a welcoming and helpful staff. We stayed in room n.1 and slept very well without any noise. You can get breakfast a couple of doors down and reach the Cathedral and Alcazar by feet in 15 min!

The owners are super pleasant. I cannot complain since they were so nice to us. We were having issues with our cell phone/internet and we needed to book our seats on the train to head to Madrid so Mari let us use her i-pad. It was raining a couple of days while we were there, but Mari came to the...
