I booked this hotel as I managed to find a really good deal for 5 nights, working out cheaper than a shared room in a Seville hostel - especially for somewhere with a pool. The room was in a bit of an odd place, down corridor after corridor, adn round a corner near the service lifts. However this didnt result...

We stayed here for one night. Our initial impression was good because the hotel is bustling, modern and receptionist was welcoming and informative - probably their best employee. Our room was on the 2nd floor at the front with a view of the walls of the old town - this is also on the ringroad which was very noisy and...

I paid 10 Euro/day for the internet which was extremely slow, and essentially useless. The location is not very good, there are better for a lower price.

I chose the Tryp Macarena because it was a converted palace and there were rave reviews about a gorgeous roof-top pool. It was a horrible experience and I couldn't wait to leave. The main guy (bald) at the front desk pretends he doesn't speak English and only did after I got mad that the paid Internet didn't work and he...

We stayed here for a long weekend and found the hotel (especially the pool) great. Conveniently located with bus right outside. The breakfast is also highly recommended.

I have stayed in Tryp Macarena Hotel in October 2009. Hotel is very centrally located, close to Basilica de la Macarena, city walls and all city centre attractions. Very convenient for everything! From the rooftop terrace you have great views over the Old Town. There is lovely swimming pool as well if you have a time... Check-in was quick and...

The room was nice, spacious in accordance with European standards. Sounds did not travel into the sleeping area but when you were in the bathroom, you could hear the conversations from the next room. The fridge was not working in the room and we found the room to be hot. Could not get the air conditioning to work. The beds...

I think the biggest separation between reviews here stems from the fact that this is a 4* hotel and therefore people expect, by NA standards, 4* service hotel, which is where I believe that this hotel falls short. Check in was slow, to say the least. A huge tour bus of people were ahead of me and everyone seemed to...

Chose this hotel despite negative reviews. First, it is not true that walls are paperthin. We stayed for 6 nights, next to American teenagers on Easter break and only on 2 occasions did they get rowdy but at 11pm they quieted down, and we slept well. The rest of the week we didn't hear them. Secondly, it is true that...

On coach tour so don't know real price of rooms if booked privately. Had lovely room with very clean bathroom and the best view from our window. Looked out over city wall. Main road immed., below our window was very noisy & busy but ok with closed windows & air con on. Some fellow travellers found their air con didn't...
