First off, I'm not sure why this hotel is rated 1-star. It came across as deserving of considerably more. The hotel is centrally located, though somewhat in the tourist area. We saw two rooms, hence the two sets of photos. The first room was modern, in the new wing. The second room was traditional, in the main building. The same...

The main reason for the trip was to compete in the Seville marathon. The marathon is perfect- flat personal best course in perfect running conditions. Seville is a beautiful city, the cathedral is amazing, lot of other interesting sites to see, many restaurants to chose from. Easy access to public transport around the city and to the airport This is...

Location: A lovely merchant’s house with many old furnishings and pictures in an ideal location only a couple of minutes walk from the cathedral. Parking: None at the hotel but they can direct you to a public underground car park some 10 minutes walk away. Reception: Friendly and helpful. Rooms: No better than adequate. Decent size and good wifi but...

Thank you so much for taking the time to review on Tripadvisor. We are appalled by all the inconveniences you have had during your stay. Maybe, if you had informed us, we would have tried to resolve the problems, for example, the problems about the room and the bed. Concerning TV, the hotel hasn't got TV, but you can see...

Striking and beautifully decorated. The tiles in the breakfast room alone are enough to stun. Extremely professional and helpful staff on the reception desk. Location is ideal for the Cathedral and lovely surrounding streets, great choice of restaurants. We had a super room with lots of original features and would return without hesitation. I have posted some photos which speak...

Very central at a very reasonable price -- at the Cathedral. A traditional building with old furniture in common areas, fountain in the court. Clean, even if not renovated. There is real heating with radiator. Good bed, nice staff, smooth management. I was also kindly allowed an early check-in and late check-out. If return to Sevilla, definitely will stay here...

Hotel Simon is in fantastic location to tour Seville. It is about a block from the cathedral but in a residential neighborhood of beautiful apartment buildings and local restaurants. Our standard room was huge with a large bathroom. The lobby is beautiful and the building is a 300 year old mansion. Ask for a room that does not face the...

Great location and price but I can not help but get the feeling that it was once a grand hotel and has not been maintained to that level(see the fountain at the entrance). However if you don't mind a few loose tiles, an aging paint job and what I would say not the friendliest reception staff then it's a good...

This is a budget hotel in an amazing location. The lobby is not bad but the rooms definitely need work. The staff were surprisingly helpful, but they need to do more to guide tourists in what to do in the area, where to eat etc. For a budget hotel it is not bad.

Myself, my daughter and my baby granddaughter stayed at the Hotel Simon for 3 nights at the beginning of December. Great location close to the Cathedral and Alcazar. Hotel is clean but needs some TLC.
