This is a small property with tiny rooms and limited amenities. Hard to find on your own. Luckily we took a taxi. On the positive side, it is within easy walking distance to town center, the cathderal, Real Alcazar, etc.
We stayed 4 nights. This hotel is clean, the bathroom a lot better than earlier experiences I had with 2 or 3 star hotels in Spain. Towels are replaced every day, the beds made up meticulously. The breakfast is not abundant but more than adequate....More
The room we had was quite nice, large and bright and with two large windows opening to the street. The bathroom was clean and fine. Air conditioning worked well.
But, it was not quiet overnight. Perhaps the rooms on the inner court yard are quiet...More
Very welcoming hotel within walking distance of the Seville tourist attractions. Good breakfast and helpful, friendly reception staff with good English. Comfortable rooms with efficient air-conditioning.
We chose this hotel based on reviews and price. They got it right! The staff is very friendly, it is centrally located, and we were able to walk everywhere. We enjoyed our little balcony, air conditioner and wifi in the bedroom, and breakfast was a...More

The rooms we occupied (a single and a double) were on the first floor, ranged around a central lobby and looking down to an internal courtyard at ground floor level. Neither room had a patio or balcony fronting onto the outside street. As mentioned in my post, we considered this a huge advantage!
I've just checked the hotel website for you and I notice that the virtual tour shows a family room with a balcony, though it's not clear if this is external or overlooks the courtyard. If this is really important to you, it might be best to contact the hotel to clarify the situation. The Abril is a small hotel (20 rooms, I think) and is booked up very quickly, so the earlier you can secure the room you want, the better.
Sorry I can't be of more help to you. I hope that you will have a wonderful trip to Seville.
