Pensión Catedral located in Seville's Historical neighborhood Tintes. The hotel is not modern and I was aware of that, I really liked that feeling. The receptionist was lovely, helpful, and cheerful. We have reached there before the check-in time (2.30 pm) but she allowed us to leave our luggage. We have given an informative map of Seville upon arrival from the hotel. The hotel is located in 2 min walk from the main street where you will find buses, supermarkets, restaurants and what not! It is within the walking distance from the Giralda Tower, Alcazar, Seville cathedral, Las setas, and many other popular tourist attractions. We used the hotel late at night and early mornings but never felt unsafe. The area is very nice and full of café cum restaurants. Our room was on the ground floor and the very first room – room number 1. The wooden bed and cupboard is old but goes with the place. The hotel looks very secure. The toilet cum shower was shared but modern and clean. The reviews made me a bit scary but it was not cold for me. We have given 2 double blankets but after some time it was too much for me and 1 blanket was enough for me. We were in the first room on the ground floor next to the road but the room is not super cold for us. The noise is common whoever lives next to a road. Though it was quiet after midnight. We have given fresh towels as well. It was a fine stay for me and the money I have paid – I should not expect a 5-star hotel.…
The hostal is 500-1500m away from the main sights in Sevilla, good location. The room and the shared rooms are nice and authentic. However the floor in the room was dirty, after walking barefeet in the room, my feet was black. We got a room with a private bathroom facing the street. The walls, door and windows block ABSOLUTELY NO NOISE. The shared bathroom was next to us, we could listen to everyone shutting the door very loudly, using the toilet and the shower. The windows are made of some kind of cheap plastic, and they block absolutely nothing from the very loud scooters outside.
Nice location, very clean room and helpful personnel. It is ok for a one night. The furniture in the room was pretty old and air conditioning not for free. Do not stay in the room facing the street at the ground floor (no privacy, noise, etc...).
Good room, very clean. Francesca who works at the hostel was so lovely. The hostel is very centra to everything, inc. attractions and eating places and not that far from the train station. We would highly recommend the hostel. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. It also felt very safe at the hostel. Seville is beautiful
Not what expected. Very pricy for very little. Not friendly and not that nice. It was okay, but bathroom was in bad shape and not private, the room was not cosy and the staff was a bit unfriendly. And the curtain fell down because it was not made good enough!
