We very much enjoyed our stay at the Monaterio de Piedra. The nice thing about being here as you can explore the grounds and the monastery after all the other tourists are gone. The grounds with their waterfalls, caves, rivers and canyons are spectacular!. We had a very peaceful, scenic hike here for about 90 minutes and saw very few...

Our visit to Monesterio de Piedra was one of the highlights of our trip to Spain. We arrived late and had a little difficulty locating the very subtle main entrance in the dark. My only complaint. Once inside the elegant, very dramatic hallway we knew we were in for a treat. The front desk clerk was what we have found...

I booked this hotel initially, purely based on its location being about halfway from the port at Bilbao and the villa we were staying at a couple days later near Valencia. However after looking at the reviews on TripAdvisor, it looked amazing. What did we find when we arrived, it really is amazing! The hotel is a renovation of a...

We visited for one night. The hotel allows you to visit the park and the monastery during your stay - amazing walk and absolutely worth seeing. As a small negative, the bed was a little squeaky and kept us up at night. Most things were really nice, however reception was at times inflexible about late check out or other possibilities.

The hotel has kept its feel of once being a monastery but offers all the comforts of modern travel. The room was spacious, with a balcony overlooking the gardens. very convenient as it was possible to break the visit of the park into enjoyable segments.

This hotel seems to be old like the monastery, and it's like if you were in the rooms of the monks but with all the comfort of the present. It's like everything hadn't changed since it was built. Besides you can walk through the park, see the birds, and enjoy the amazing views. A place to come back.

The walk through the park was amazing & breathtaking, as was the cloister. Food & service was good, I need to learn more Spanish before my next visit. Beds were comfortable and our room was very clean. Would definitely visit again. Great wines.

We were there for a professional meeting. Good rooms but NOT isolated. You hear everything. The food is not of the expected level and what annoyed most was that the food was cold even the meat. For the rest service ok, but wellness open from midday till 20.00.

This hotel is absolutely amazing. This hotel is part of an old monastery which you can have a guided tour which was in Spanish or you can just walk around yourself. The rooms were spacious, very clean and were furnished well. We had a veranda which overlooked the park. The park was free to hotel guests and was the most...

Staying at Monasteria de Piedra is not just about some where to stay but the whole experience of the building, it's history and the beautiful national park that surrounds it. Room was very comfortable and facilities good ( though wifi restricted). Breakfast was fairly ordinary but overall the experience was great value for money and unique
