The place was almost deserted and we didn't feel welcome. The staff was understandably minimal and the receptionist at the front desk. was clearly used to chatting on the phone and doing homework. She helped us but with very little initiative. We asked about the spa but it was closed. What looked like a swimming pool was some sort of...

Five-stars can mean a lot of things when you are traveling throughout Europe, and especially Spain. With a rating system that is based on "installations" instead of quality it is easy to find yourself in a five-star property that is anything but we are used to in the USA. The Castillo del Bosque la Zoreda is certainly an exception. We...

This promises to be a great hotel and some of it is but it seems to be more set up as a spa-resort and wedding venue rather than the needs of international travelers. The good: After driving up through a richly forested knoll a few kilometres south of Oviedo, the immediate impression is of a stunningly modern rendition of a...

The reviews for this hotel were so glowing that I expected it to be impossible to live up to our expectations. Instead, it exceeded them. Everything about the hotel was impeccable - the service, the food, the decor, the spa, the shower - even the bed and sheets were some of the most comfortable I have ever experienced. This hotel...

From the moment we saw this place we knew we would be in for a treat. The hotel is located in a secluded area surrounded by greenery and trees, with mountains to be seen in the distance. The rooms are beautiful, luxurious, and have lovely decor in white and silver. The cleanliness of the rooms is just impeccable! The elevators...

Hotel Castillo Bosque de la Zoreda is a modern interpretation of a castle with all the conveniences of a luxury hotel at a very good price. We were greeted by a charming young lady who provided excellent local information about Oviedo, such as where to park, sights to see, restaurants and so forth, all of which was spot on. Our...

Finally, a luxury place to stay in Spain…and at a reasonable price. This is by far the BEST bed I've experienced here in Spain. The place is kind of hard to find, but well worth it. It has a hilltop location outside of Oviedo, so it's not very convenient to downtown. However, it's relaxing, quiet, luxurious, good food, and the...

This is a beautiful modern Castle on a country estate. The rooms were large, very well appointed, clean and extremely comfortable. The main building is quite intimate and the grounds were beautifully kept. We had a very pleasant time. We only stayed for one night as we were traveling through but would've liked to have stayed longer. There is a...

Characteristic of the attentive staff to do these effort.Spacious room and a modern bathroom. Shower into the bad. We had dinner in the restaurant, compliments to the chef. The bar is cosy and the terrace outside is also nice. Breakfast...
