Hotel Codina is a good choice if you're in San Sebastian just to lay on the beach. The beach (5 minutes from the hotel) is really nice and not crowded, if you compare it to the beaches closer to the center. ALso this hotel is not cheap. Hotel is very far from the historic center of San Sebastian. I mean...

In Sans Sebastian for a wedding and the local bride booked many rooms in this hotel for the guests. Room was spacious, clean and quiet. About a 5-10 minute walk to the beach but much longer (30 - 40 minutes) to the city centre along the beach. It was no more than 10 euro from the bus station to the...

We booked this hotel last minute and were pleasantly surprised. The hotel was very clean. Rooms were on the small side but we weren't in San Sebastian to hang out in the room. Bathroom was decent sized compared to some other hotel bathrooms we stayed at in Spain. Free wi-fi. Theres a cafe in lobby where we got croissants and...

We stayed at the Codina since all of the downtown hotels were booked months in advance for the Film Festival. It was clean and comfortable, but a good ways from downtown and old town. Prices were jacked up because of the Festival making the value less than staying there during normal times. Front desk staff was less than helpful. Rooms...

The hotel itself was perfect; clean, comfortable & modern. The staff were very friendly & helpful. Its a short walk to the beach & promenade but to reach the old town it's at least a 20-25min walk. Lovely to do once or twice but after that it gets tiring! We only stayed one night in San Sebastian so had to...

Much newer hotel than most directly on the beach. Well maintained and well worth the walk from our point of view. Parking is truly only two short blocks away by the police station. Most of the 7th floor rooms have balconies with wonderful views but request early! One side has AM sun, the other side PM sun, request accordingly. Beach...

Stayed just for one night, but wish I could have stayed longer. The room was modern, and clean, very close to the beach and a great little spot - Bar Pepe. Staff were nice and professional and recommended a bunch of restaurants to eat at in Old Town. Old Town is a good 40 minutes walk from the hotel but...

Very good location if you wan't to stay close to the beach (some 5-7 minute walk), but out of the hustle and bustle in old town. The hotel is easy to find by car, and some rooms have ocean view. The walk into old town is about 30 minutes along the beach promenade. The hotel seemed to be very recently...

Do you enjoy spending time in the ocean? Prefer to be close to the action but not right amongst the hustle and bustle? If you have answered yes to both, then the Hotel Codina maybe the perfect option for you. The hotel is roughly a 2 minute walk from San Sebastian’s most picturesque beach ‘Playa de Ondarreta’ and a 20...

If you’re looking for a modern hotel away that’s close to the beach but away from the central hustle and bustle of the old town in San Sebastian, Hotel Codina could be just for you. Located a 3 minute walk to the western beach, Codina has a stylish lobby and bar, free internet terminals and a 24 hour reception desk....
