We stayed at Pension Edorta during Semana Grande and could not have been better located for the week. The pension is well run, staff are really friendly and our room was cleaned every day. We were 2 minutes from the harbour, 10 minutes from the beach and 10 seconds to the nearest bar. This was not really a problem as...

Pension Edorta is conveniently located in the old town of San Sebastian. My friend and I travelled there from Biarritz (via train to Hendaye and the 'subway' EUSKOTREN to San Sebastian). The buses from the station all stop on Alameda del Boulevard and there is a tourist office (friendly staff) that can provide you with a map and directions to...

Staff here was very helpful and friendly! Rooms are a little dated but still cute and very clean. Our room was actually really super quiet despite being on a street with a lot of people out late at night, perhaps it depends on the room? The shared bathroom was good, super clean.

Stayed three nights, great location within the Old Town. Pleanty of restaurants and Pintxo bars within a few strides. Pension clean and well decorated. Can be noisy at night due to location and you can hear other guests in adjoining rooms. This did not bother us as we had great location . Good value. Would stay here again.

Lovely, spacious rooms (we had two en-suites), excellent location - you're right in the middle of the Parte Vieja's buzz, pintxos bars, restaurants and also very close to the beach... Good value for the money. The four of us would definitely stay there again on the next visit to San Sebastian!

Charming, quiet hotel well located in the charming "old town" section of San Sabastian. Front desk very helpful in providing restaurant suggestions. Tapas (pinxtos) bars and restaurants in San Sabastain are some of the very best in Spain. Hotel is an easy walk from both train stations and excellent shopping/sightseeing. Very nice rooms and bath however the bed(s) are uncomfortably...

In most aspects this is a great little spot - very well located in the Old Town, pleasant spacious rooms - especially the en suites - and helpful staff. The balcony is a bit small to be of great use and the wifi is pretty slow, but these were minor gripes. The major problem here is sound-proofing; the walls and...

Very nice pension in the heart of the old part of San Sebastian (Parte Vieja), cheap and clean. Free WiFi. We had a shared bathroom, always clean. Quite calm although very central. No restaurant but several excellent pintxo bars and restaurants within 30 seconds walk.

My fiancé and I chose Edorta based on reviews from trip advisor and were quite disappointed with our stay. We were in the middle of our dream vacation and selected Edorta for its location and value, given we planned to splurge on meals at such places as Martin Berasategui and Arzak it made sense to select a hotel under €100/night....

Beautiful room, helpful and friendly staff. Fantastic location, right in the old town with plenty Pintxos and Vino! Only downside no tea and coffee facilities but I think that may be a Spanish thing :-( lovely stay, will be back.
