We are not the best Hotel in Palma but we work always to improve things day by day . let,s meet ! We offer stunning views of Palma Bay as you can read in TA thats why we always recomend to book our superior rooms with sea view in stead of cheaper ones standard No sea view ( it is really worthy ) Close to the Puerto de Palma Harbour. It features an outdoor pool and rooms with balconies, 2,5 km from central Palma cathedral .All air-conditioned accommodation at the Horizonte has simple, bright décor. Each room comes with satellite TV and private bathroom.The hotel has a buffet restaurant which serves a selection of Mediterranean cuisine and features a terrace, offering Mediterranean Sea views. . The nearest beach is Playa Cala Mayor Beach,2,5 km from the hotel and Palma’s old town can be reached in 20 minutes, by bus. You can find the Porto Pí Shopping Center and Mallorca Casino in a short walk , Pacha Dico . The city’s airport is just 9 km away and the port is a 10-minute walk from the Horizonte. We recomend to use the public bus 46 at 40 mts of the door or use the taxi because of the If any doubts we always recomend you to contact us before you buy your holidays so no surprises will appear in future . Arrived here on 14th January for three weeks with Mercury to celebrate my wife's forthcoming 80th birthday, given a standard room which not only could you not see the sea but you had a job to see daylight. We paid €210 + anupgrade to a very nice room with a jacuzzi on the 4th floor. Problem is that there is no where to sit in the grounds on a sunny day. There is absolutely nothing to do whether it's nice or foul, no entertainment, however we do have a superb 42" Samsung television with 98 channels but NO English programmes, it must be something to do with Brexit!!. The food is mainly tepid, even the soup! We have started eating salads for dinner because they are warmer than most of cooked food! Tonight was an education, we have never had a meal in such a noisy environment, locals filling their plates with food, leaving most of it and then going up for another plate full. It was worst than an old fashioned Motorway service area not what i would expect from an established Hotel. The ambiance of the restaurant is not conducive to being on holiday. Not to be recommended.

We gave you a free casino entry just 500 mts away , recomendations to assist to any cultural events in Auditorium Palma , or join the sant antony or Sant Sebastián party , the citysighseingbus to visit all momuments in Palma . We offer you as well a selection of 15 things to do in Palma de Mallorca wich is a super guide of inspiration to your travel . Palma offers plenty of restaurants in the city to enjoy the best winter holidays .And inside the Hotel you can join our Saxophone festival with 2 concerts during your stay , 2 tropical parties during your stay , and many other activities as the Toastmasters club every thursday at the HOTEL , PLAY SOME PING PONG , OR CHEES , OF TASTE OUR COCKTAILS AT THE BAR OR WALK AROUND THE PASEO MARITIMO . Sundays you canjoin the Mallorquin Buffet middays wich is a must . We are happy you enjoy your supperb room wich you paid 50 % of supplement as a gesture for long term . I was initially booked into the annexe but due to a small issue with ants, was moved with no hesitation … they can’t help ants invading !! The reception staff were lovely, apologetic and resolved the situation rapidly I moved to a beautiful room in main hotel with amazing views over the Port … watching the cruise ships come and go.

There is a beautiful terrace where you can watch the sunrise with a cup of coffee .. really amazing
I didn’t have breakfast so no comment Snacks at pool were lovely Drinks a bit overpriced but there is a little shop across the road to stock up on water and snacks - there are also vending machines for late night snacks
The location was probably the only disappointment… a good 45 min walk to Palma ! Followed by about 150 steps up to hotel - so defo not for people with walking difficulties Although … taxis are not too expensive ! The area is a bit run down but due to its elevated position the views are amazing !!
Overall, I had a fantastic week at this hotel and actually glad the ants invaded my annexe room as my upgrade made it a much better experience than I would’ve had in my small annexe room
There were 2 girls at reception who were particularly personable and kind … one young lady just kept asking me if I was living my best life …. She was bubbly, kind and always had a smile The gentlemen were less friendly with no effort of smiles or welcomes …. 😀

You get what you pay for....We were aware that for the money there would be no fancy hotel although basic is the best word to describe this hotel. The staff are very helpful and friendly although are been trained so are new to this role. The main hotel looks very tired and in need of modernisation. This appears to be in the process as during the week, the pool area was been rendered and new glass panels been installed. Had you not have seen the works people though the walls and walk areas are very untidy. A large glass panel was smashed and had been cordoned off by way of a chair from the bar, it was still like it after 5 days! The rooms are very clean but basic. This was all we needed as only used the hotel as a base. The rooms were cleaned every day and the cleaning team were very friendly. The towels are very tired, on a couple of occasions the towels were torn, the balcony door also did not lock although considering we were 3 floors up this did not worry us We were unable to use the pool due to the weather although on the day we left the pool area has been set up, the sun loungers were nice and tidy The bar onsite on an evening had a nice atmosphere, nice to watch the sunset over the harbour. The drinks are reasonably priced too. The locals do frequent the bar as there is a very large tv screen playing football. Not a fan of football but there is areas away from the screen to sit The location is in a area where the locals live and is situated on a hill top. I had read reviews that there is a small hill.....it is not small when pulling up your suitcases!. The walk into Palma city takes around 45 minutes and is pleasant along the front. We didnt use taxis but they were always present near the hotel should you require one. The little cafe opposite the hotel is great for breakfast and the staff are very friendly. The walk to Portipi shopping centre is well worth it as is Cala Major. We did feel this hotel was a little further from the city than we would have liked but on a plus side got plenty of steps in and lost a couple of pounds! Should we return we would stay closer to the sights and sounds of the city

Quite worried at first traveling from the airport as it was late on a Saturday night but within a couple of days we absolutely loved this hotel. The room was very large the bed was excellent with a great mattress the breakfast was amazing with an abundance of choice and the staff very friendly and helpful. The standard of cleanliness was spot on and credit to the cleaning staff for their efforts on this, although we were just b/b we asked if we could eat in the hotel of an evening this cost us 15 euros each for a 3 course meal and the standard was very good. Getting into Palma could not be easier with a bus stop a minute away from the hotel number 47 in and 46 back for the sum of 2 euros each ! My wife and I had a fabulous time and would highly recommend

Hotel reception staff incredibly rude ( young guy ) I’m currently still staying here and have hated my stay that much I’ve tried to find alternative accommodation! Electric kept tripping in room ( 399) Balcony tiny and when I asked to move rooms as the electric kept going off they put me in a room worse than my own. Asked to be in the main hotel and the female receptionist laughed at me! As a solo guest I felt very intimidated and unsafe Food lukewarm and looked awful.. Was slagged off by bar staff without them realising I did understand some of what they were saying Room dirty and had a musty stale cigarette smell Couldn’t get any tv channels and wi fi incredibly poor I really wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone

We booked a week at this hotel from 4th to 11th of July. We knew what standard to expect as a three star hotel. All we demand to have a nice stay are that the rooms were clean and that there are no pests.
Up until Saturday, everything was as to be expected. The evening Saturday we arrived back at the hotel late, and there were ants all over the main space and the bathroom area. At first, the receptionist said he couldn't do anything. After saying we were not going to stay and sleep in a room with ants he said he could come "clean". We were told the hotel was fully booked and there was no way for them to change our room. The receptionist "cleaned" with some paper towels and regular cleaning spray, and claimed he would leave a message for the cleaning staff to do a full clean of the room the next morning.
Ants can't be cleaned away and as they offered no sollution, we booked Sunday-Tuesday at a different hotel as we were not going to stay in a room with invasive ants.
The next morning, the new reseptionist knew nothing of what had happened and offered no sollution.
We decided to complain through booking.com. After some back and forth they told us this: the hotel doesn't want to reimburse you in any way because they claimed that no complaint had been made. They knew nothing of any ant problem.
Stay away, as this hotel will do nothing to fix a situation and will downright lie when a complaint is made.

Stayed here from 23rd May till the 30th May, the room itself was ok, pool was brilliant and a couple of the staff were friendly. That’s the bit’s i liked about the hotel. I had previously left a 5 out of 10 on booking.com because it was a basic and cheap hotel for the location just being a short walk to the centre of Palma. But the young gentleman who checked us in was not the most helpful person at the hotel to say he was on reception, he then passed us on to a lady who was just as unhelpful she took us to the complex but not the floor she didn’t tell us what floor we were on or anything just left us to find it on our own, when we got to the room it was like a sauna so went to turn on the air conditioning on and open balcony I later found out you can’t do both at the same time what a stupid concept, you also have to pay to use the safe which didn’t work the first night we even got the night manager down to try and sort it out but he couldn’t get it working so he said he would get the maintenance man to try and get it to work, and if he couldn’t I would get my money back, sounded good but getting him to come and fix it was a nightmare and the staff had to be prompted to come to the room plus when he came he was completely rude didn’t speak very good English basically implying that I am an idiot for not reading the instructions which I had read beforehand, he then went to mess with the safe and all of a sudden it worked, finally as regards to the breakfast we didn’t have any coz the unhelpful gentleman on reception couldn’t even be bothered to deal with me so we went down the road for breakfast it was a lot better and from what I have seen on the reviews since getting back I am glad I didn’t bother. To sum up its not to bad if you just want a bed and a pool and a bar, you get what you pay for

Arrived at 10pm and swiftly checked in. Previously emailed to request a ground floor room (mobility issues) and was allocated 132 right by lift and reception. Despite having many stairs, staff showed us the 'sceret' lift to allow us to go down to restaurant and pool 'step free'
Great breakfast for 10 euro (pay card at restaurant desk or cash at reception) and even better luch at pool bar (pay by card or charge to room). Nice buffet dinner for 15 euro (again pay by card on arrival or pay cash at reception).
Pool was lovely and warm, sunbeds plentiful. All very clean indeed.
Taxi arranged by reception came within 5 minutes.
Hotel spotlessly clean - not so much as a single bug spotted all week.
Puts many 4* and 5* star properties to shame. Thoroughly recommend a stay here and we WILL be back!!!!

A group of my friends are still waiting for a refund of over 1000 Euros as a result of a cancellation to a booking due to Covid-19. Whilst of course I appreciate the disruption Covid-19 has caused to everyone's lives we have not had ANY communication from this hotel as to the status of our refund. We have emailed, and called, on countless occasions now and have had 0 communication. When we do get through via phone the way in which we are spoken to by reception in a rude and dismissive manner is simply terrible customer service. Beware! After 4 months of no communication I have reluctantly resorted to writing this review to warn other customers and to inform the owner that should we not receive an update by 18th September we will be resorting to legal action to recoup our money.

There is a bar and restaurant in the hotel. Locally there is a shopping centre with chain restaurants and some local restaurants outside. We went to Michels restaurant twice, lovely tapas etc, a 15 minute walk (steep downhill) - bus passes by as well
( we got taxis back - 5 euros). The bus takes you into centre of Palma too - 15-20 mins.

Not so much nearby, or a supermarket but there is a mini market around a 10 minute walk away. If you head to towards the arcade and McDonalds, it’ll be on the right.
There are more places to choose from in the Palma de Mallorca area.
