Detailed Reviews
I was overall very happy with my stay there! I stayed in the mixed 20-person dorm for 5 days and was apprehensive about how that would go. But the way the beds are set up makes the fact that we were 20 barely noticeable. The beds are nice, and you can easily put on your clothes and bags, which I found really nice. There was also air conditioning.
The bathrooms were okay, nothing great. It was the bare minimum, and it's true that the normal ones were small and barely had space to put your stuff in it.
The common spaces were nice and practical. I cooked in the kitchen, which was a nice way to meet people.
The reception guys were really nice and helpful.
The location was also convenient as we were a few minutes walk from the center and from restaurants, cafes, supermarkets...

My sister and I have spent 3 nights here. The room was not bad, it was our first time in an hostel so I can't make comparisons.
NEGATIVE ASPECTS - Unfortunately there weren't enough shelves in the bathrooms and no space where to leave stuff for the shower, such as beauty-cases and so on. In the common areas it was SCORCHING hot, no air conditioning on! From the other side, in the room was freezing at night. There were duvets and we slept very well, but the climate change from one area to the other was extremely high!!
The doors of the rooms were very noisy because they are quite old, so even if you want to be cautious it's almost impossible.
POSITIVE ASPECTS - Reception open 24h/day, very kind staff. The room was clean and they have cameras everywhere.

Just home after a great four night stay and really could find little to fault about the hostel. Very clean, good level of privacy in the dorm, friendly staff and a super bar on the ground level.
Location is perfect. A couple of minutes walk from cafes, restaurants and the main sights, just a five minute walk to the airport bus and a ten minute walk to the main bus station where you can get everywhere on the island.
Highly recommended.

So happy I found this place! Walking distance from cafes, shops, restaurants and the Cathedral. This is probably the CLEANEST hostal I’ve ever stayed at. The staff are super nice, cheap bar and plenty of showers/ toilets. The only downside is that the lockers are in a different room/level, no lockers in the actual room

I would not recommend this place to anyone to stay. Absolutely disappointing management. GREEDY money takers. I had a funeral in my family, someone close to me passed away I was begging management for a refund (or any sort of solution out of good will) for almost two weeks, they simply ignored all my emails and grabbed the money from my credit card a few days before my arrival. If you treat people like that you don’t deserve any success in your business. Think twice before you decide to book your stay with El Josemari Youth Hostel - Albergue Juvenil in Majorca.

Can't fault this place. Very welcoming, clean and tidy....cheap bar attached and loved the 3 day stay.....I will definitely be coming back to this place regarding the location (palma centre) and staff that work so hard to make you feel at home

Excellent location, comfortable, clean and complete common area with everything you may need. Friendly reception, especially Christian, who does his best to ensure that the guest finds what they need, thanks in particular to him. Close to all the most important places in the historic center of Palma
