Good for walkers
Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
Comfortable hotel, with good beds, wifi. You can choose or not to have breakfast (cafe just up the hill will sort you out with a coffee/croissant). It is in a great location for the city, restaurants etc. It is quirky with its art theme and design and works well as a base for the city.
The photo on the website of the rooftop pool is misleading. The pool honestly doesn't know whether it wants to be a pool or a plunge pool. There are several loungers, several under a canopy but the area is often dominated by groups of hens or stags. There is a pool for swimming lengths in level 1 (indoors).
Housekeeping is a bit all over the place (we had copious bottles of champú everyday but rarely body wash). Balcony needed a clean and one day they overlooked doing the room.
Can be noisy when revellers come back in the wee hours.
The hotel is on the route for the no.4 bus to Ses Illets for the beach for a day but make sure you buy a parasol.

This hotel is fantastic. We got there early and were able to drop our luggage off before check-in. We were upgraded to a huge room with a sofa bed and big balcony with two sun beds on. The spa is free of charge for hotel guests, and has to be booked at reception. It has a pool, hot tub, water beds, steam room and Turkish bath, along with a splash bucket and two rain showers. We loved it, but you do have to share it with other hotel guests who may be in there at the same time. One thing to note is that the rooftop pool was closed on our visit, which may be the case for all off-peak months. The bar is lovely, with an outdoor area with two floors and an indoor area where breakfast and dinner are held. We had breakfast, which had a wide choice of foods and coffees/teas/juices, however no sausages. All the staff are friendly and speak good english, and all the facilities were great, and the hotel is nicely located nearby a supermarket (mercadona), the port front, and the poble espanol among other things. All in all a great stay.

We stayed in the hotel for over 3 weeks after my husband had a serious cycling accident. The staff were amazing and extremely kind. They were very flexible, thoughtful and caring - just what we needed. I booked the hotel by chance. Inside the hotel has wonderful paintings throughout , the small spa down stairs is perfect and was always quiet - best to book or/and ask for the sauna and steam room to be switched on before a visit. Our rooms were at the front and we had site of the sea and harbour between the buildings opposite. The breakfast was one of the best we have experienced in a hotel and the evening meal delicious. We used the bus service and taxis and found it easy to get around. A wonderful calm place to stay. (Not a typical touristy hotel).

This hotel was fabulous ! Very clean , the rooms were very spacious and very clean. They came everyday we were there to make the beds and clean (we were only there 4 days) staff were very helpful and friendly The breakfast is probably the best I have had in terms of choice , healthy options and sweets We could not find fault with this hotel at all and the artistic flair throughout the hotel would impress most people Well done to everyone regard Claire Jayne and Rachael

Compliments to the hotel staff, who were all consistently friendly and accommodating. Housekeeping even bent over backwards to help us fix a zipper hook. While the building has seen better days (broken faucets, loose ledges etc.), we felt very much at home. It is conveniently located close to the center (a 25-minute stroll away) with good parking opportunities and lots of dining areas closeby. The beds were comfortable, the room spacious and the breakfast had a great variety of choices that changed daily. Only the coffee from the machine (with what tasted like artificial milk) was a bit of a let down, but it was possible to have it black with real milk from the buffet. The hotel also has a nice concept of supporting local artists so you'll be able to enjoy all kinds of artwork in every nook and cranny as well as featured artists in the hotel's own Art Galleries.

Just returned from the most wonderful trip to pretty Palma. This hotel is in a lovely location opposite the marina with a short scenic walk to all the main attractions in Palma. I was given the most perfect room which was spacious, comfortable pillows & bed & with the most spectacular terrace with panoramic views & a beautiful view of the marina. There was plenty of space & privacy to practice yoga as the morning sun rose, & beds & a table to lounge & sit & enjoy the sun. Staff all friendly & helpful & the hotel has lots of interesting art. Absolutely loved my stay & cannot fault any aspect of it. Will most definitely return & would highly recommend this quirky gem of a hotel.

No such thing as a double room Paid for a double room Got 2 single beds pushed together with 2 sets of single sheets - not what we paid for-reception did not want to know. Spent all week smelling the weed being smoked by the rooms next door. Do not sell people a double room when in reality it is 2 single beds

Fantastic. On all levels. Was here for 4 weeks, from mid Sept to mid Oct, so a good chance to get to know the place. Great room (203), very clean, bed and pillows very comfy. Staff incredibly helpful on all levels, food delicious and not really overly expensive, this place definitely became "home away from home". If you keep the balcony door closed at night, it's soundproof and really quiet, even though my room faced the street. The occassonal guest making noise in the hallway is rare. Rooftop pool is not really for swimming but great to cool of on hot days (and it was hot while I was there) while indoor thermal area is very well kept and nice. Will definitely stay here again if I ever get the chance to go back to Mallorca. HIghly recommend.

Absolutely amazing staff at this hotel. I stayed here last week for 4 night and 5 days with some friends to celebrate my 50th birthday. From the Reception staff, to the room cleaners, the waiters they were all so lovely and friendly and nothing was a problem. Breakfast was amazing and when we ate in the restaurant that was gorgeous too. There was a singer on one night on the terrace which we also thoroughly enjoyed. Special shout outs to a blonde haired lady in Reception who was especially helpful and one waiter ( a lovely man with a shaved head) in particularly who kept our table for us when we went to get sorted in our rooms when the singer was on. (Thursday 25th July.) Really central to access everywhere and added bonus of the Artwork. We would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone.. Lisa, Anna, Jo and Linds.

Great hotel - a few minutes to the Marina and close to the centre and all the bars and restaurants. Rooms big and spacious , air conditioning and good toiletries. Staff very helpful and friendly . We chose this hotel as it was one of the most reasonably priced ones available and so was expecting it to be a bit shabby . Quite the opposite- great value for money but good quality. I left my sunglasses in the room and the cleaning staff found them and I got them back - honest staff . Would definitely recommend
