For those of you who have read my reviews before, you know I usually say it as it is. Please give the thumbs up vote if you have found this review helpful.

The hotel is situated within walking distance of all of the main shopping areas of Palma and the Cathedral.
Transfers to and from the hotel can be done either using the local taxi ( bet 13 - 20 euros ) or using the A1 bus which stops right outside the airport and drops you off approximately 50 yds from the hotel ( it’s the last stop for the bus so you won’t miss getting off ) The cost is a reasonable 5€ each way.

The restaurant is on the left hand side where the buffet breakfast is made available every morning until 10.30am. The breakfast buffet is made up in a European style so don’t expect your ‘Full English’ - but there’s plenty of it on offer. The tea/coffee is from a machine but they will also make you a bespoke Barrista type coffee for a small extra charge.

The restaurant opens out into the Main Street and a covered area with heating during the winter months providing the necessary warmth. This is a great place to eat and watch as people go by.

Our room also had a mini fridge which was free for the contents on arrival but which you have to pay for to have replenished.

All in all this was a very good choice for those wishing a lovely stay in a centrally located hotel in Palma - we had a lovely weekend and would definitely go back there again!!

In looking for centrally-located hotels in Palma, Hotel Jaume III came as the best bet – situated on the busy ‘Inner Ring Road’ of Passeig Mallorca, and next to the junction with Avinguda de Jaume III leading into Palma centre. Bus from the Airport stops right outside, and taxis are available nearby.
This is a different sort of hotel experienced by this visitor, but a pleasantly memorable one. The hotel interior has an intricate Modern Art decor with sculptures in the foyer, dark walls and furry circular designs in the restaurant ceiling. On arrival, a pleasant odour greets the guest in the foyer, and continues throughout the hotel.
My room was on the eighth floor near the top, with a balcony view looking out over Paseo Mallorca, the Torrent de Sa Riera stream, and looking out to the mountains which overlook Palma. The room (double) had all the conditions needed for a fortnight stay – en-suite bathroom, flat screen TV, mini bar and table light. Lovely complimentary champagne brought by room service.
I opted for Bed and breakfast board, but had the option of having dinner in the hotel restaurant in the evening. It was busy at breakfast till 10.30am, then restaurant is cleaned quickly for the daily opening to the public from 11am to 11pm. There are also a few bars and restaurants located nearby.
All in all a fantastic place to stay. A little pricey, but a top-notch service and fab interior decor. Highly recommended.

The hotel has a great location on Passeig de Mallorca, in a row of tapas restaurants, and the Airport - Palma bus terminus is right outside. A number of other bus services to and through Placa Espana make it easy to access the transport interchange for trains and buses to other towns and resorts.
Rooms overlooking the Passeig/riverside are charged at a premium but I was happier to have a standard room at the rear, without the traffic noise. The room was really big and spacious and the bathroom included a bath with flexible shower above.
Rooms are spread over 9 floors (11 rooms per floor) but there is only one passenger lift, so it took three attempts to get down to breakfast one morning. If I stay here again, I will ask for a room on the 1st floor, although this is 2 flights of stairs as there is another floor between the ground and first, where the Spa is located. (I did not visit the Spa but there was no extra charge for this).
Breakfast was included and was buffet-style with continental, cereals and cooked choices.
The hotel bar/restaurant has inside and pavement tables but serves only tapas, although the portions are very generous. The "Block House" steak/American restaurant is next door but was closed for renovation when I was there.

We stayed here for 5 nights ( 2 adults, one 16 year old) in a family room. The room was a really good size, and the bathroom sufficient enough. We were facing the back of the hotel, so there wasn't a view and it overlooked other buildings. There's a safe in the wardrobe which is free to use. The bathroom has a hair dryer, bodywash, soap and shampoo. Our towels were quite rough, but there were plenty of them. As someone else has mentioned, the corridors are very dark, floor to ceiling black with some rather unusual pictures dotted about. As a note, this hotel has 9 floors and 1 lift. We were on the 3rd floor, and there were a surprising amount of steps to walk up to get to the 3rd floor so we did use the lift occasionally, especially when we had just been walking around the city for hours, and either had to wait for ages for it to appear or just gave up waiting and walked up the stairs.
The main reason for marking this hotel down is due to the Breakfast. You get asked upon checkin which sitting you would like, 7:30, 8:30 or 9:30. That's fair enough as the restaurant where breakfast is served is quite small, so we opted for 8:30. We arrived the next morning to a queue to get in to breakfast, and as all the tables inside were taken, we had to sit outside. This wouldn't have been so bad had the weather been nice and sunny, but it wasn't, so they had to put the outside heaters on. The whole time we were there, even when it was sunny, it never reached the outdoor tables for the restaurant.
We then joined the queue to see what was on offer, some fruit, yoghurt, some cheese and meats, cereal boxes, bread and pastries. The hot choice was scrambled egg, chorizo, cooked ham (not bacon) and i'm not sure what the round things were, maybe hash browns. The L shaped layout is a nightmare as the toaster is in the corner, so if someone wants toast , it holds up the whole queue. I would seriously consider moving the toaster to the end , out of the way. Tea and coffee machine, 2 choices of juice and water. The staff are very friendly.
The hotel also has a spa, but a maximum of 6 people can use it as it is very small. There's also a small 'lounge' just by the side of reception with a few seats.
Whilst we were there, the air conditioning was not yet available, so at night time it was quite stuffy in the room (Mid April).
As has been mentioned, the hotel is ideally located for all the sites and shopping. A taxi to the airport costs roughly 16 euros, or you can get the bus.
A special mention to the handy man who helped on our last night get our daughter out of the bathroom. When she tried to open the door, it wouldn't open and we had to go down to reception to ask for help. The handy man came very quickly and after trying to fix the handle etc, ended up , after a while, having to kick the door down. By this time it was after 11pm and reception said it would be fixed the next day, but we were checking out the next morning.
All the staff we encountered were friendly.

Me and my husband stayed here in February 2020, on arrival we where greeted by the friendly front of house staff who allocated us a room on the top floor and told us that the drinks in the mini fridge where complimentary - this was a nice touch!
Our room was spacious and clean and had a large balcony which looked out over the tree lined straights, you could also see mountain tops in the distance.
We had breakfast in the bar each morning which was nice and varied with a good selection of drinks.
We used the jacuzzi and sauna area one day which was a pleasant experience, it was only small though so in high season it may get a little cramped.
The hotel is perfectly located for exploring Palma city with most attractions within easy walking distance.
I'd recommend HMJamie III to anyone who was visiting Palma for a city break.

We took the A 1 bus from the airport for 5 euros and got off at the stop opposite the hotel. Got off at stop 20 called Passeig Mallorca - Jaume III. There is a sign on the bus which shows which stop is coming up. Hotel had a nice fragrance on entry. The room was large and faced the back which was quiet but had no view. Air conditioning was poor so we kept the window open for a breeze and pulled the curtain closed. Beds were comfortable though and had a good nights sleep but can hear the people next door. No kettle to make tea so requested one and they gave us cups and tea bags. Only Fox TV, BBC News, Disney junior and national geographic were English channels. Room was tidied daily and bathroom had hand soap, shower gel and shampoo. Six free complimentary drinks in the fridge. Only one lift so we walked down from the fifth floor and used the lift up. Breakfast was adequate. Coffee was poor and orange juice concentrated. Cereal was cornflakes or coco pops. I prefer muesli or oats. Would have liked some mushrooms or tomatoes as there were no vegetables. I had bacon and scrambled eggs with toast, yogurt and chopped fruit. We never dined at the hotel. Few restaurants nearby. Just round the corner from department store which had a supermarket in the basement with lots of choice. Don’t use the mini market round the corner as the prices were extortionate. Hotel ordered us a taxi to go to Bellver Castle. Bus back to airport was at the same stop we arrived for 5 euros cash. Driver said it runs every 12 minutes. We had to wear a face mask on the bus.

The hotel is in a great location on a tree lined street with a pleasant outdoor seating area.
It is modern and quirky, the well publicised black walls fit in with this theme, but can make the corridors a little gloomy. Especially as the lighting is motion triggered.
We had a large room with a good size balcony overlooking the street. We requested and were allocated, a high floor which made it quieter, and pleasant to sit on the balcony with a glass of wine.
Our room was spotlessly clean, well equipped and very comfortable. A fridge and safe are included.
We walked everywhere and found plenty to see and do.
The staff were all very polite, kind and helpful, they are a great credit to the hotel.
Breakfast was good, a little busy at peak times but was replenished regularly and the coffee was good.
Would definitely stay again.

Hotel Jaime1ii is very well situated for all the tourist attractions that Palma has to offer. Access to the hotel from Palma airport is easy taking the A1 bus from just outside the airport stopping directly outside the hotel for 5 euros and likewise return.
Our room was clean, comfortable and although no tea making facilities was in the room we only had to ask and was provided straight away as was an iron and board.
The staff were polite, more than helpful and very efficient.
Had a day out on the Palma to Soller railway to Port du Soller ( which takes about an hour or so plus 15 mins on a tram )but the weather was less than kind which was a shame because the port looked beautiful for a nice stroll , so had a nice meal at the port and returned.
All in all a lovely 4 night break and would recommend both Palma for a city break and Hotel Jaime1ii.

Very quick and early check in, with very pleasant reception staff both on checking in/checking out. We were on the seventh floor, very dark corridors with lots of art on each floor. We had a triple room which was very very clean, nothing critical to say. Breakfast was really good value and we are so pleased that we opted for breakfast, it was done in time slots you just booked your slot on arrival and went down at that same time each day, it got busy after 9am but before that was fine. It has it's own bar and outside seating but there is seating outside the hotel at other bars and restaurants so it's a great buzzy location. A good 10 minute walk window shopping and you were near the cathedral and the nice shops, Zara, Louis Vuitton. would definitely stay here again for a city break.

Just returned from a week in Palma , we stayed at the Jamie 3 after a last minute cancellation , we were apprehensive as no time to research before we travelled . We were delighted with the hotel , staff were great ,friendly and welcoming , they dealt with current control measure to a high standard making us feel safe and making the right choice . Rooms were over looking the Main Street , we could sit out and watch the city wake and go to sleep . Food was limited on B&B . We were there a full week and same every day , maybe due to COVID controls . On street seating area was good to watch the street life. Check out parking if you drive there 25 euro a day in public park An added cost we didn’t anticipate. Overall a great stay in difficult times the hotel is well situated for city holiday,

Our top floor room had bathroom. No steps into hotel or around ground floor, great restaurants on the same block, especially the Block House if you like steak! Suggest you e-m the hotel to confirm they can meet your requirements. Hotel has lift and emergency stairs, on ground floor access to restaurant and street level is fine fir wheelchair, no steps. But i do suggest e-mail them or phone. Hope all goes well and you have a great time. Hotel is right by bus stop from airport as well
