Detailed Reviews
Hotel's Favourite
Our stay at the Palma Riad was truly wonderful. From the minute you walk through the door it has a beautiful scent, and a sense of calm washes over you. The interior is beautifully designed, as are the 11 individual rooms. The rooms are private and spacious, and the dark but warm tones of the interior lend themselves well to a perfect night’s sleep. Breakfast was in a beautiful atrium with a full complimentary breakfast. And it has a beautiful bar attached to the lobby where you can sip pre-dinner cocktails. It is perfectly located in the old town near to a lovely shopping street and you have restaurants like El Camino on your doorstep. A huge thank you to Carlos especially who was so friendly and the perfect host for our stay, a Mallorquin himself, we had delightful chats with him about the island he grew up in. We will be sure to come back and say hi!

My wife and I just stayed at Palma Riad for 2 nights (Nueve Suite) to conclude a 3 week trip to Spain (from the US). It was even better than expected. To start the location is great - easy walking all over Palma, the rooms are gorgeous with the nicest in-room amenities we had anywhere (and we stayed many 4/5* on the trip) the cave tub is so nice and relaxing. A Michelin star restaurant (we loved) and a gorgeous bar with fantastic waitstaff. If you are enjoying a drink at the bar just watch all the passers by stop and gawk at this place through the window, it’s that pretty. The concierge/front desk were great - I emailed several days before our stay and had reservations at several Michelin restaurants in the area by end of day, and they are available 24/7!! The staff also helped immensely with our visit just in general areas and also party spots to visit. I think you are getting more than you pay for here at one of the nicest hotels I’ve visited. I’ve already recommended to several friends and would love to return.

So I'm very reluctantly writing this review.
I want this place to stay Palmas best kept secret.
We stayed an extra couple of nights because it ranks as one of the best we have ever stayed.
Checkin I was greeted by Sergio who went above and beyond to make me feel at home within minutes of arriving. The first room I was in was not quite like the pictures I had booked via a travel agents, because they have more than one room per category but I was quickly moved to another room which was really nice. The real working fire places are a real novelty and make the room super cosy. There is so much to explain in the rooms and what there is to do in Palma, but Sergio really took his time and explained everything in perfect English. His first class service and that of the other members of staff, a really nice manager (Eduardo) who spoke Spanish to help me learn in the slowest possible way I have come across as usually everyone speaks Spanish at 100km an hour. And also the barman whose name I had sadly forgotten who made the best Amaretto Sour I have ever had. Oh and not forgetting Nico who served me dinner the first night but turned out to be the bar manager who made us reservations for the following nights.
The hotel is beautiful and room five with a large bath more akin to a small swimming pool and fireplace in the bathroom was our favourite, perhaps a little noisy because its just above the street, room 10 much quieter if that's your thing.
The only thing that could perhaps be improved is the breakfast, which was very nice but abit hit and miss, last day they laid on a buffet breakfast so that made a change and was very nice.
Whilst the hotel has the most unique feel as does the bar, it is the members of staff that make this place shine. I would thoroughly recommend that you stay here if in Palma and gladly rank the customer service as better than that of the finest luxury hotels in the world. Personal thanks to Sergio and the rest of the team. I definetly plan on making a return visit to my new second home!

The Palma Riad hotel is perfectly located. We easily walked to most sites. The room had a great walk in shower, comfortable bed, and a bathtub you could quite literally swim laps in. The hotel restaurant was a gem. The tomato bread there was divine. Special mentions to both Mario and Maria. They made getting around the island easy whether they booked us a rental car, taxi, or gave us walking directions (w/maps and water)! It is very rare to find a reception these days that was as top notch as the one you will find within the walls of Palma Riad. 5 star class.

Unique and atmospheric boutique hotel, in a wonderful, central location in historic Palma city centre. The biggest double bed I have ever slept in, the most attentive and charming concierge team who could not do enough for you. We left our suitcases as we arrived really early in the morning and received a phone call advising our room was ready prior to the standard check in time which was really appreciated. Great breakfasts and fantastic margaritas (not at the same time) made this Palma highlight.

+1
The Palma Riad deserves 10 stars if that was an option! From arrival to departure, the Palma Riad team was genuinely attentive to our every need. They provided excellent recommendations to local bars and restaurants AND made our time at the hotel bar restaurants even more special with many laughs and good times. Both rooms (we stayed two separate times) were even more magical than what we saw in the photos. Every detail from the lights and furniture, to the dangerously comfortable beds make it very hard to leave on your last day. Location, location, location! Wow. We were near walking distance to everything but the team also made it easy to call a cab and travel outside of the city when needed. Extra credit for being such an LGBT friendly and welcoming place. We hope to return next time we travel across the seas.

Now don’t get me wrong, the location of this small hotel is great, and the staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. The place is modern, clean and tidy and the rooms (other than an iron) have everything you need including GHD straighteners and hair dryer. The hotel doesn’t have a pool (and if we hadn’t enquired we would never have known) but you can use the nearby sister hotel Nakar for free (which was lovely and a place we would highly recommend). The reason for 3 star is purely down to value for money. For £600 a night for a ‘suite’ (it wasn’t a suite it was an average sized room and nice sized bathroom) it simply wasn’t great value. The bar is nice but was very small and never appeared to be busy and the rooms are so dark it is all a little ‘too cool for school’. The Hotel Born next door is half the price and has a vibrant courtyard with a buzzing bar scene, probably where we will book next time. In summary it was nice but for the price was not great value for money.

I don’t know where to start from but from the moment we entered the hotel we were greeted with this majestic OUD smell and a smiling friend Lucas . The kind of detailing each room had was just remarkable a big salute to Pablo peyra for putting his expertise to this project . It is hard for me to pick one corner and say this was beautiful in specific, every corner has been given great attention giving any visitor a speechless experience. The staff was really kind , it’s hard that you come across such warm and hospitable staff in the Europe but Lucas , Daniel and team made us feel at home and special , again not to forget attention was paid to every details as we were vegetarian the chef altered some dishes and presented to us .
I have stayed in multiple big hotel chains and bunch of Botique hotels but Palma Riad aces it all in the Europe region so far .
Big shoutout to the man behind this beautiful creation Toni Ramis , the property speaks loud of your passion and larger than life nature . The property is just not an institution to make money rather leave a long lasting memory in the guest mind that brings him back everytime .
Sending you guys all the love back

The room we had was the most original hotel room I've seen in probably forever without it being even remotely tacky. The bathroom was exceptionally fine with the largest and deepest bath I've been in.
Only negative point was a not working airconditioning system, it kept thinking we opened one of the windows while they're shut tight. Hotel staff couldn't get it to work correctly in the nights we were there and they also told us we couldn't set it to anything lower than 22 degrees celcius anyway since it's winter now. Since we like our room to be as cold as possible at night and since the room only has windows opening to the roofed in courtyard it was quite hot these nights. Hope they'll fix that soon and remove the limitation not to cool the rooms in winter. Until that time I'd book a room with windows opening to the street.
Hotel staff was very, very helpful and courteous, excellent suggestions/tips by the concierge, very very attentive barmen and staff at breakfast. Really felt like they're spoiling us. So we'd love to go back soon!

The hotel Palma Riad, which opened in 2021, was exactly the right choice for me. It is so centrally located in the old town that I could walk to all the shops, the cathedral, the harbour and all the restaurants mentioned above. This hotel won me over with its exceptional Moroccan style, beautiful rooms, great bar and excellent service all around. The service was noticeable in all areas, whether it was the room service twice a day, the escort to the room with explanation of all amenities and technology, the free water and capsule coffee machine in the room, the offering of a water bottle to take away each time you leave the hotel or the good service at breakfast, everywhere the customer was the focus. The Junior Suite was cosy and with dark colors, it was clean and I never had such a comfortable hotel bed. The breakfast also offers enough for vegans: fruit, bread, jam, crunchy breakfast cereals from the buffet as well as the possibility to order something from the breakfast menu. I always ordered the avocado toast without butter, egg and cheese. It was very tasty. In addition, I asked for hummus on the first morning and so, from the second morning onwards, I was additionally sent delicious hummus with dried tomatoes and baba ghanoush by the chef. That was really very thoughtful. The hotel also has an oriental restaurant called Za'atar in the neighbouring building. I did not have time to try the restaurant. But I will certainly make up for this during my next stay. Especially as I was told that vegan dishes can also be prepared in the restaurant. By the way, the bar of the hotel offers excellent cocktails and it is so cosy that you would like to stay there for a long time. I will definitely check into this hotel again on my next trip to Palma de Mallorca.
