Hm Palma Blanc Hotel captivates guests with its stylish and modern atmosphere, though a handful find the decor a bit overwhelming. While reviews on value are polarized, recognizing both reasonable rates and unforeseen expenses, the hotel's cleanliness earns universal praise. Amenities such as the rooftop pool and spa are popular, despite occasional remarks about limited space.
Travelers appreciate the central location, but some feel it's underappreciated. Room opinions vary, celebrating modern features and free minibars, yet some criticize the size and design. Service is predominantly lauded for its warmth and efficiency, with rare mentions of inconsistency.

Detailed Reviews
We checked in on 21st July 2022 for two nights and had a suite.
We loved everything about this hotel and the fact that it is new, is such a bonus. The staff were all so pleasant and helpful and the breakfast was amazing. Such great selection and quality. We loved the very large and stylish room and really appreciated the complimentary drinks upon arrival. This was such a welcome change after the nightmare of our previous hotel in Mallorca! The place was so clean and just has a fantastic vibe. Yes, there are a few snagging issues but that is so minor and really nothing to complain about and will be sorted out. The location is amazing and we would stay here again in a heartbeat. Highly recommended.

A really good inner city 4* hotel with rooftop pool and basement indoor pool, steam room and sauna. Good choice at breakfast, friendly staff. We chose a small (bijou) room overlooking the inner courtyard…the outer rooms are much bigger. Comfy beds and pillows. However, the shower (two modes) pump water faster than the drain can cope , so use a trickle or you will flood the room. Also, bring your own plastic cups with handles, because the ones supplied have no handles and cannot be used unless you have asbestos hands. Bring a corkscrew because Spanish wines are not screwtops, and the rooms only have bottle top openers. Other than these minor points, a really fab hotel.

The hotel was spotless to begin with. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, always happy to help with anything they can. The hotel left us a bottle of Cava when they heard it was a birthday trip....nice touch!
The rooms are very spacious, spotlessly clean, with all that you can ask for, a large comfortable sofa, comfortable beds, air conditioning with a large screen TV with a range of UK and European channels. The bathroom is excellent with separate toilet and shower areas. The room comes with a mini fridge with a selection of complimentary drinks just to make you feel really welcome!
The pool area is very good with a great selection of sun loungers and beds complete with a pool side bar and again very helpful staff happy to bring you any food or drinks. The hotel also has a spa area but I didn't get a chance to use this (too busy in Palma!) but it did look very good.
The location is very central and a 10 min walk from the centre of Palma or 15 min walk to the Cathedral with lots of great restaurants (Sandro's is a must!) and coffee bars very close (MDQ and Surry Hills being my favourites).
Airport transfer is 10-15 mins to the Hotel and is around €20 so no long transfer journey either.
All-in-all for me I highly recommend the HM Palma Blanc for anyone visiting Palma it has so much to offer both in terms of location, the friendly hotel staff, the amenities - its the total package.

I came away from HM Palma Blanc with a mixed view… Although I did have a lovely time at the hotel (staff were extremely friendly, rooms were nicely decorated/well equipped and the location is great, the staff even left a bottle of cava in our room for a birthday. Comfy sunloungers if you picked the right ones, a nice spa downstairs and the hotel is just a 10 minute walk into the city), I would probably class this as more of a 3* experience than 4*.
Firstly, the rooftop pool (although very lovely) is also very small. It opened at 10am, which meant that a queue formed at the door from approx 9:30am for those wanting to get a sun lounger. The queue was often long and there was a constant run of people coming up and having to leave because of no space for them. Secondly, there isn’t any service around the pool. If you want a drink or food, you had to go and queue at the small pool bar. We also had to ask the staff to take our finished food away after it sat with us for over 3 hours and was attracting wasps. Lastly on the pool front, we stayed over a weekend and the pool got extremely busy. Not exactly the hotels fault, but there were several groups of hen/stag do’s congregated in different areas drinking, talking loudly to one another and playing their own music.
Breakfast - again I felt this was more at a 3* level than 4*. There was no table service and I found myself queueing 15 minutes every morning for a basic coffee machine. I only drink lacto-free milk and noticed behind the bar they had a barista machine, so I asked if I could have a barista coffee but it was at an extra cost which felt a bit silly to me.
Lastly, at checkout we noticed that our bill was higher than expected and realised that a group had charged their drinks/food to our room. Luckily I picked up on it and the hotel keeps a copy of receipts so the receptionist checked the signature and agreed it wasn’t our bill so it was fine, but just worth noting.
Overall, I did enjoy my stay with HM Palma but the comments above did take away from my experience slightly. It’s probably a hotel more geared towards young groups/people wanting to look around the city.

Stayed here for three nights in a junior suite. The hotel opened this year. Location is great. Neighborhood feels more authentic than staying in the middle of the tourist area. 15 mins walk to the catedral. A couple of decent restaurants close by. The lunch in the hotel restaurant is a very good deal, and seems to attract outside customers. The breakfast is very good as well.
Excellent service from everybody who works here.
What put me a little bit off, was the lay out of the room and the price. When entering the room, you had separate toilet and shower room on your right, while waredrobe and sink on your left. This basically means that you enter the room through a wet room. Very strange. The price was also a bit steep for the room.

Enjoyed every minute of our city break in Palma. Great to see so much effort has been made in creating a stylish mixture of modern whilst maintaining a strong quality theme.
The welcome was warm and we were shown to our room. It was a corner room, so plenty of space, modern and well equipped with a comfortable bed.
The restaurant was very well organised, hot chef station as well as the buffet, all kept looking perfect by the staff.
There is plenty of room in the outside spaces, with smart tables and areas in cool corners.
We found all the staff amazing and the location an absolute delight. City living without the noise and pressure.
Highly recommended.

I am still actually here as I write this and basically couldn’t wait to get home to say how great it is!
Think we are literally some of the very first people to ever stay here. Everything is pristine and it all looks so good. The rooms we have ( we are friends staying in 2 regular rooms) are very modern and they are very comfortable and feel a pleasure to stay in as everything is brand new. Love the trendy bathrooms! So far the staff and the welcome they have given us has been amazing and we're also finding the location very handy for shopping and sightseeing. Looking forward to the next couple of nights here! Highly recommend this new hotel in Palma!

Lovely hotel staff, very accommodating. The Sky Bar area and rooftop pool is very modern and clean but due to too many hotel guests, we struggled to get a single sun-bed at multiple times of each day. The shower in the room had a pungent mould smell which didn’t disappear when being vented with window open and leaving the shower door open. On the whole, lovely city with excellent restaurants.

We couldn’t fault this new hotel at all. It is a show stopper of a building, spotless and very modern.
The staff couldn’t have been nicer, anything you need extra or slightly different is no trouble, reception staff were really on the ball.
Our room had a queen bed, big soft pillows, fluffy towels, it really was gorgeous with finer details thought through to make it extra comfortable.
Breakfast was a joy, fresh omelette, pancakes as well as the usual hot buffet and continental. They served a great, hot coffee and refilled it without me having to ask.
It’s perfectly placed for shopping and city sightseeing, not needing to use taxis is great, we enjoyed walking around for a change.
If possible we will be spending Easter here next year.

I can’t tell you how much I loved this hotel. We arrived on a busy Wednesday lunchtime - the gentleman that checked us in was so completely lovely and friendly and took the time to tell us all that we needed to know about the hotel. One of our two rooms was ready early, which was so appreciated as we had been up since 12 the night before, they had also allocated two rooms together which was fabulous as I was travelling with my daughters. The rooms are spotlessly clean and the beds comfortable. You also get the mini bar free on the first day which is great.
Everyone we encountered at the hotel was lovely and friendly and had a smile. The lady who greeted us at breakfast was lovely, the breakfast restaurant isn’t huge but it absolutely has everything needed and the food was all fresh. The guys on the bar that we met at the end of the day when we came back tired from exploring Palma were so lovely, they made the most fabulous cocktails and even recommended which one my daughter should try. I would stay at this hotel again in a heartbeat . It is in a fabulous location and it’s immaculately clean. A fabulous 48 hours in Palma/thank you so much 💫
