Detailed Reviews
The hotel is a little old fashioned but we found the room was clean and the hotel was quiet which is all you need for a city break. The check in process was very straight forward and the gentleman on the desk was really helpful with how to get around the city. We hadn’t pre-booked breakfast and just wandered down in the morning to see whether it was worth it and it was, there was plenty of choice of fruit, cooked breakfast and pastries. There was even a basket with some gluten free muffins.
The castle is close by, within walking distance and worth walking up the steps to get the views. The cathedral is a bit of a walk but it’s a pleasant walk along the harbour front and it is a flat route so not strenuous at all. The hotel also offers free entry tickets to the Joan Miro museum if you go to their sister hotel which is up the road from the museum and is about 8 euros in a taxi from Sercetol. The taxi to the airport is only between 20 and 25 euros. The local area is much quieter so we had a decent sleep and the bathroom provided free shampoo, shower gel and soap. I would recommend this hotel if you are happy to spend some time walking to the main tourist sights and see it as a base for the night.

I just wanted to pay a very quick complement to members of the team at the Sercotel Zurbaran Hotel in Palma. I stayed between the 25/2/20 - 28/2/20.
Lucas was absolutely excellent in providing the best customer service possible and ensuring that my stay was problem free and comfortable.
The maids and restaurant team were also fantastic, professional and polite at all times.
The Hotel itseldf is comfortable, in a quiet location but not far from the centre of Palma.
Please can you pass on my compliments to Lucas.

Positives: Room was big and breakfast was really good. Staff friendly.
Not so good...Our room had a water damage, there was a towel rolled together and put behind the toilet that was running constantly. The hallway and floor next to the toilet was damaged from water leaking. The toilet had a bad smell.
We didn't complain since only staying one night. But it is clear they are aware of the problem, the water damage was not new.
The room wasn't cleaned well. I am not picky.

Excellent value for money.
Spotlessly clean
Stayed in the basic double room, not the largest of rooms, but you have everything you need.
Breakfast is extremely good for €11 pp.
Location is fine if you have good mobility as its uphill from the sea front.
What makes this hotel? THE STAFF, they go above and beyond to make your stay perfect. A special shout out to Lukas on reception who is just amazing.
Our only little niggle is there is no tea/coffee facilities in the rooms, but available 24/7 from the bar in reception.
We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are thrilled that you found our hotel to be of excellent value and our premises impeccably clean. It's also heartwarming to hear that our breakfast selection impressed you and was well worth the price. Nonetheless, we are sorry that some aspects of your stay did not meet your expectations. While we do not currently offer tea and coffee facilities in the rooms, we're glad you could still enjoy these comforts at any time from our bar in the reception area. Finally, it is wonderful that our staff, especially Lukas, made such a positive impact on your visit. We strive to provide a friendly and helpful service, and it's affirming to know that our efforts are recognized. Regarding the location, our hilltop position offers a unique perspective of the seafront while still being accessible to the marina and city center for those who enjoy a scenic walk. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back in the future for an even better experience. Kind regards, Lucas Fornés, Manager

We stayed here in October for 5 nights. The staff could not have tried harder to make our stay relaxing and enjoyable. The location is great as it's just a little way out of the city in a quiet street. The Hotel had a small car park which made life easier. It was my 2nd stay here. Last time was in 2019. Both times everything was perfect. It is very good value.

Room was cramped, not good for two people. No place to put suitcases! Not even floor space or closet space for luggage. Uncomfortably small. If you are travelling in a room alone, it would probably be a fine choice. The hotel staff was pleasant and helpful. The location was good, near the #4 bus (EU2) into town and near the tourist bus #50 as well. Breakfast was excellent. Air conditioner fan was very loud.

Stayed there for 2 nights. Hotel has modern a/c-ed rooms with desk, seperate bath room, and free Internet access. Room was very clean and quiet. The hotel has no pool so no "alcohol-filled Arenal-type-tourists" even though the week-end rates are very good. I had asked for a quiet room so I got one to the patio; a very few rooms on the other side seem to have bay view. All rooms seem to have a balcony.
The breakfast (at weekends at 8) was very good: includes eggs, hot sausages, fruit, youguhrt, cheese, cold sausages, fruit juice, tomates and olives, cereals, jam and spanish sweet bakery. It is well worth the extra EURO 7. In the evenings they had a espresso machine and sweet bakery for free in the lobby. They advertised a evening meal Mo-Thursday at 8pm, but I could not check since I stayed Fr-Su. Frontdesk was very helpful when I had to confirm a flight but had lost the phone number.
The tricky part is the location. It is west of the old Palma district in a tiny narrow road at a steep hill. It is only a few minutes walk to the beach/marina, but getting to the hotel from the beach is not that easy since you have to find the right road from the beach front. The Number one EMT bus leaves right from Plama PMI airport (about every 15 minutes, also often at night), going around old Palma, and eventually running along the beach front west of old Plama where the hotel is located (only EURO 1,85) - no need for cab. The safest way to get off the bus is the "AUDITORIUM"- stop and then continue into the driving direction of the bus at the right road side. The next stop may be somewhat closer (you then have to walk back) but I cannot remember the name. Walking from Auditorium you pass severall cafes (areas seems safe and is crowded) until you pass a large hotel with its own drive up ("dented side walk") followed by the bar "Moon" at the corner. At that corner turn right into the road leading uphill. Road makes very narrow right and left turn, then you hit a square and "Sindy's pub". Turn left at square. At other end of square (Bar Dracula) turn slightly right again and walk up the steepest road from this square. Take the second street on the left (after ...Salud street). The hotel is right after the next corner. Again it is very close to the beach but you have to find it...
I would stay again unless I would find something similar right in Old Palma for a similar price (that is unlikely).
PS Continuing the road and turning left agian leads to teh park to the castell at the top of the hill where you have an excellent view of the Palma area.

We stayed 5 days over Easter. Situated on a quiet residental street this is a clean, comfortable and stylish hotel for the price. Our room had a decent sized bathroom with a good (walk in)shower which is always one of our priorites and we like hard beds.
The walk from the airport bus (line 1) stop(on the harbour road) takes about 10 mins and the buses into the city centre (3 & 46, every 10-15mins) stop 5mins walk away. Buy a 10 ticket card at the newsagents on the corner and each trip costs €1. The immediate surroundings are a bit shabby but totally ok to walk around.
A note on the breakfast...while the choices were generally comprehensive and well presented, the bacon & eggs were luke warm and a kettle for BOILING water (tea again) would be a good idea. Actually we skipped breakfast on the last 3 days to leave more room for tapas at lunchtime!

Yes. Very far I would imagine as it’s in Palma
Yes there was a mini bar fridge for the hotel. We used it to keep our wine cool for a quick vino on the balcony. Hotel didnt mind.
Room safes were free.
We paid for Bed & Breakfast, so it was included but It can be paid for separately, sorry I cant remember what the price was. There was a lot of choice, including bacon & eggs. Fresh fruit and the usual 'Continental' breakfast.
