Good location above the outer marina of Palma. Decent amount of parking for the location. Service at reception is friendly and professional, but there's no real lobby with nice seating - tough times if you have time to kill. The rooms are a good size but somewhat empty, and not much thought and care has gone into decoration - there is none. Tricky to find a good setting for the AC, it only seems to know 20 and 25 degrees. Modern, nice bathrooms, internet it free and fast enough. Cleaning crew does good work but should be more flexible as to when the clean the room, I often times had to leave early in the morning and found the room to get cleaned at mid-day when I come back. Small underground gym with very high humidity. Pool area is okay, but no city or sea views. Breakfast is good for €5 per day, but I bought and brought my own, fresh orange juice, the one they serve is way too sweet and tastes artificial.

Excellent hotel near the port area of Palma. Swimming pool area is great and relaxing. No issues with sunbeds and generally very quiet. Good breakfast, didn't try lunch or dinner.
Walk into the centre is a bit too far, especially when the temperature is hot. Wish we had discovered the bus a day earlier. Bus stop 5 mins away and buses every 10 mins into the centre (number 4 or 20) at 2euros each. Bit of a hill to get down to seafront. Worth being a bit further out for the benefit of having a great pool. Highly recommend.

Stayed one week at BQ Augusta. The area was very quiet. .The location was perfect for my purpose of the visit (seminar nearby) but it may feel a bit far away from the city centre for a regular tourist. There are busses going to the city centre, and the walk to the centre along the harbour is very pleasant.
The room and bathroom was very clean but the room was very warm since the air con was not working properly, Nothing much happend after I told the reception (this being November it was not a huge problem though...)
The breakfast was good, the staff friendly. The gym was very small but very clean.
All in all I think this hotel is recommended if you dont mind staying a bit away from the centre of Palma, and wtih this price I think it was a bargain

Location of hotel is uphill place on southwestern side of Palma de Mallorca which is actually "hotel district" and hotel is surrounded whit many other hotels. There is a mini market 50m away.

We did not have care but there are parking spaces in front of a hotel.

Reception and lobby is comfortable and nice area.

Room was fair enough with balcony. We did not have kettle and fridge was empty upon our arrival. The safe required prepayment of few euros at reception to be functional.

We reserved baby cog which was nice and comfortable. Adult beds were seperated and connected in bigger bed but it was not good idea. Also, beds were not so comfortable and the frame of adult beds was not so firm as it should be.

Other room facilities were fair enough.

We stayed at BQ Augusta for 8 days in early May and chose the hotel to be close to Palma city but not in the city and having the possibility for a swim. Reception staff very friendly and helpsome, cleaning personel very effective. We stayed in a studio, plenty of room for two and kitchenette Big enough to make simple meals. If you plan to walk to/from hotel as we did you need to be able to manage going uphill. Bus station going to venter of Palma is just 3 min walk from hotel downhill 😁 We enjoyed our stay

Lovely staff and a great stay. The pool is lovely and we went during the middle of July, when we expected it to be very busy and it was never packed with people at the pool. They have great beds outside too, in case you want some shade. They do everything they can to help you, if you ask. Danielle especially, really looked after us and was a great energy. They have a 'gym' which is basically a treadmill, cycle, step-thing, a bench with a barbell rack (very low weights though), some kettle bells and some dumbells (also very low in weight). To get to the hotel is a bit of a climb, as are the others that surround it but it is very conveniently located near an area called Portopi, which has a load of chain restaurants/ cafes, a Carrefour (which was a lifesaver for picking up breakfast/ sandwhich bits) and a bus stop that goes to Palma in 20 mins and 20 mins, the other way, to Illetas - which was an incredible, quiet-ish beach cove, with crystal clear, clean water and lovely sand.

Why do hotels in Spain charge for using the room safe? It must be the only country that does that! How can a 4 star hotel not provide a safe place for valuables? Crazy! The location is not ideal, unless you have a car. The staff, while very nice, seem to know absolutely nothing about what is going on, or about where to eat or what to do in the city. We were there during the biggest island holiday of the year. They knew nothing about it and were as helpful as doorknobs. The breakfast was great and almost made up for the poor service. The pool area is beautiful. We did get a fruit tray as an apology, but of course I would prefer better more knowledgeable service. I would advise them to charge for the free parking and give the safe away. We were surveyed multiple times - so this company seems to want to improve - but it really needs to change it's culture and educate its staff. Sometimes I wonder if management ever actually has the experience of staying in different hotels world-wide. This group seems not to have.

A modern clean hotel within easy walking distance of the port & approx a 50min stroll to the beautiful centre of Palma. Reception staff were pleasant, welcoming & very helpful, the pool area is quiet & relaxing & close to the bar/restaurant where the food & drink is well priced. We didn't try breakfast but ate lunch there which was excellent & very good value. Our room was a good size & cleaned to a high standard. Overall hard to fault, great value for money & would definitely recommend

Lovely hotel. We stayed 3 nights for a weekend away to catch up with friends. The hotel was pleasantly quiet with no fighting for sun beds at dawn etc. Breakfast offered a nice variety of food with some cooked elements, breads and bakery and cold meats and fruit. The room was clean and tidy and the beds comfier than they first looked. The hotel staff were quiet but accommodating. We will definitely be returning.

I was there for a short time but I feel more tired. I had a lot of insects in my room on all sides. Everywhere around insects i couldnt sleep at night .I reported it to the reception and they gave me a spray so I could clean it myself. The service in the kitchen is very low. One woman treated me unpleasantly. She attacked me for not having breakfast included in the price when I was putting cheese on a plate. No one informed her that I bought it and paid for it. she spoke in another language and when I asked for English her face was unpleasant. That person is not professional .there is no spa in the hotel, no massage. the toilet was very dirty, fingerprints on the mirror, dirty pillow + the website says that the staff speaks German and does not understand simple words. This whole hotel is terrible for me and I have never seen a 4* hotel with such a low level. I've been to 20 countries and this one is really bad. In reception one person was ok ( lady ) but my check in evening time was not nice. No good evening no smile nothing
I never had situation like that. They no tell you about Area around . They say nothing ,and are no helpfull .no internet ...
I contacted hotel few times by email about my money back . No one even reply . If someoene wants see all movie about insects please text my by email .
I cant add movie here i tried

I would say that it is not located near any beach as firstly it is in a residential area up on a hill and it is located in the port side of the city . You could probably take a bus which you would get two streets away which take you to a beach at illeas . A bout 20 minutes away . However this hotel although very nice is not a beach hotel.

Dear James, Best option in order to get to the hotel is taxi or public transport (bus). Taxi option will cost you aproximately 25€ and will last 15/20min; the bus (nº 1), about 3€, will last 40 min. and then 10 min walking uphill to the hotel. With warm regards, BQ Hoteles
