The hotel staff were friendly, polite and very helpful making us feel welcome straight away.
The rooms were quite simple but very clean with everything that you need.
The bar area was pleasant and relaxing and breakfast was pretty good for a buffet breakfast with fruit, cereal, meat, cheese, toast/bread, cake, croissant as well as scrambled eggs and bacon or sausage.
Very well situated within easy walking distance of both the sea and Palma centre.
All in all a great choice for our break.
When I protested the bizarre-ness of this policy, he told me it was because I was traveling alone, and was therefore not allowed to bring a guest in with me. After further protesting, the manager told me that perhaps he would let me bring my guest in if I paid the fee - which was to pay an additional €30 for every night that I was staying there which would have come out to €150 since I was staying 5 nights.
Obviously I further protested that it was bad enough they were essentially charging me a tax to use my room. But charging me for every night of my stay was completely ridiculous. At this point I was so angry that we left and walked across town to my friend's hotel.
The next day, I confirmed the policy with a different front desk person to see that I did not misunderstand what the night manager was telling me. Again, I protested that the policy was ridiculous, puritanical, invasive and a violation of privacy.
Later in the day upon my return, the front desk manager (different from the previous night) approached me to try to offer regret about the policy. He explained that since my room was a Queen and since I had already paid for double occupancy, the night manager was not supposed to refuse entry for my friend. Obviously it was too little, too late, and in any case the policy was still ridiculous.
This was the worst experience I have ever had at a hotel, and I have been a traveling consultant for 20 years and have stayed at hundreds of hotels.
So BEWARE! If you are a solo traveler who likes to have fun on vacation and are considering this hotel, check to see if they've changed that ridiculously stupid policy before booking.
Main lift out of order most of my stay, second lift not always available when summoned from upper floors. TV large & clear, though some channels not always available.
Bathroom was pleasant, but no a/c?? It seemed a bit smelly after use. Towels were worn and rough - not what I expect from this quality hotel.
Breakfast plentiful - but breads were generally dry and tasteless.
Generally a good hotel - 7/10.
Good location for the centre and assortment of restaurants
The receptionist was very friendly and helpful.
I was surprised but very pleased to see that instead of having phones in the rooms all communications can be done via WhatsApp, including asking them to call me a taxi when none were around when finishing work. 10/10 for this service.
Rooms are ok, very clean (as is the whole hotel) and comfortable. There's a safe, fridge but no coffee making facility. Wifi was good. Bathroom has a nice walk in shower.
I would have stayed here longer but the breakfast was very poor, served to almost covid style practices. called a buffet style but not where you can serve yourself - not even fruit or cereals, eggs can be ordered but portions are small, as a result I had to check out and into another hotel.
Staff were friendly at check in and check out. We enjoyed a late night out in Palma and couldn’t get back into the hotel very easily as the night porter didn’t notice us immediately.
Our room was a mini suite on the 10th floor and was clean, stylish and comfortable. A selection of complimentary cold drinks were supplied in the room fridge. There was fast Wifi and a large television in the room. The bedside tables have magnetic charging pads for mobile phones which was a nice touch.
Generally a nice place to stay for a short break in the City.
They were very kind helpful in everything. For good transport, the shuttle also puts you down there. I recommend to everyone. The location of the hotel is 10 minutes from the city center and 20 minutes from the beaches.
