We enjoyed a 2-night stay at Puro Hotel Palma in early December. Everything was wonderful from start to finish. We were able to check in early as we arrived at 10:15am and get late checkout. Front desk staff are very friendly and helpful. Great location with short walks to many cafes, restaurants, the shopping district on Passeig Des Born, the amazing Palma Cathedral and palace. Enjoyed a dinner at the hotel's restaurant Beatnik with reservations made by the front desk and a 30% discount. Beautiful hotel, clean rooms and small little touches that made the stay that more enjoyable such as the wood "do not disturb" sign, glass water bottles, bracelets made by nomadic tribes, a double sink, slippers and robes (our robes were uncomfortable, though). Views were great from the 5th floor where our room was located. Our window faced the inside terrace and we had no problem with noise. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

We visited Hotel Puro from 30th December 2021 till 7th January 2022. To make it short: We had a wonderfull time. We had room number 22, a junior suite on 2nd floor. We slept very well, the beds have been comfortable and the room was a quite one. The junior suite was furnished nice and the cleaning staff kept it very clean, each day. Towels have been swapt daily. Of course, TV, air conditioner, little fridge ect pp was working as expected. Highlight of the bath room was a nice rain shower, which always made us starting the day well. The 2nd highlight of each day was the breakfast. After taking a seat (both, eating inside and outside was possible around new year`s eve) the waiter informed about the special daily offers and asked whether a fresh orange juice, esspresso, cappuchino etc pp is desired. The breakfast was served on a wooden board, and it was excellent. Jam, Nutella, Ham, Cereals, Eggs (fried eggs, omelette, scrambled eggs), fruits, different kinds of cheese (e.g. Manchego and „Queso de Mahon“ (a cheese from Menorca which is quite yummy). Of course, fresh and warm bread rolls and croissants have been served, as well. Ordering „gluten free“ breakfast is possible, which may be for interest for Celiacs. The gluten free baguette and gluten free croissants have been very delicous and were always served fresh baked in a plastic wrap (which makes a lot of sense due to no contamination is possible). Of course, we visited the Beatnik restaurant, as well. The food was delicous, as well as the drinks. But of course, we visited other restaurants, as well. The location of Hotel Puro may be regarded as one of ist biggest assets due to you can walk to everything within some minutes. The Hotel Puro`s staff was always friendly and helpfull, which made our stay so wonderful. Don`t forget to mention the huge SPA offer with its possibilities. My girlfriend booked a massage and was very enthusiatic.

After challenging and enjoyable skiing in the French Alps, our group came to Palma de Mallorca to rest and to enjoy the beauty of the island. Our reservation was at Purohotel, which has a really great location in the old town of Palma. During the check-in I had the pleasure of communicating with the receptionist Jorge Martos. This gentleman has very good manners and is very polite and considerate of the clients' needs. He is also very knowledgeable and highly professional about his duties. He could solve certain difficulties with the accommodation in a very efficient and skillful way. I was really happy to stay for four days in this hotel, and I am deeply thankful for all the help, attention, and quality that Jorge provides to his clients for them to feel happy during their stay at Purohotel. This makes me want to absolutely come back to this hotel on my next visit to Mallorca. Thank you very much.

The suite we stayed in was very tired and dark - had a mezzanine floor which was a waste of space - in fact our "suite" was really only a "room". Had trouble booking into a beach club which was reason for our stay, as only a certain number of sunbeds reserved for hotel guests. Staff were nice enough but whole place was understaffed with breakfast each day a shambles and orders constantly wrong. Rooms were cleaned very late in the day. My husband left his personal number asking to speak to the Manager (who never seemed to be around) - he/she never bothered to call during our 3 night stay. The location of the hotel is great but I think this hotel is in need of a serious refurb and staff training.

Hi Tanya, Many Thanks for your comments. As you can read in all our comments, my staff is there to give you the best service and help during your stay. We like challenges, but your husband was a tuff one. Toast to cold, to warm, why do our joy rooms have 2 levels and so on…. If I had spoken during your stay, I would not have changed a thing. Purohotel is hotel build in an old Spanish 17th century palace. Not 1 of the rooms are the same. We are the first ones to change a room if it´s not to liking, but in your case, we were fully booked. We had 1 bad breakfast service during your stay, because many guests did not follow the time schedules as they are indicated. These time schedules are there due to covid regulation. We must spread the amount of our guest in three shifts otherwise the restaurant will be overcrowded. Purohotel is great holiday experience, the only hotel in Palma with direct access to the beach, The best breakfast in town, rooms with a quirky touch…., but in this case not to your liking. My partner and I and our parents stayed at Puro Hotel over the weekend and it was a fantastic couple of days.
Upon arrival we were made very welcome by the reception team and nothing was too much of a problem.
Our rooms were very clean, modern and comfortable. Being Brits, we would have loved a kettle and tea & coffee facilities, but this was available with room service at a reasonable cost. My girlfriend absolutely loved the natural toiletries available in the room (it’s the only hotel she has found that the products are all completely natural).
The wait staff at breakfast were very attentive and the food was tasty and plentiful. The chefs had different breakfasts available each morning which made for a change.
We also got to enjoy the spa facilities which made our stay even more relaxing!!
All in all, we would highly recommend this hotel in the middle of the city down a lovely clean historical street.

The hotel was great!! My 14 yr old son and I were on the final leg of a group trip. My son was at the airport begging to “just go home”. I had been hurt by a snowboarder the previous day and my son had 2 episodes of vomiting in the week’s time before. We were “an American hot mess” if there ever was a pair. The flight to Mallorca and hotel was already paid and I determined that a 2 short flights were easier than one looong one. Best call ever..... At check-in, instead of 40 people in the lobby, the Purohotel chooses to have groups wait in the atrium drinking champagne and orange juice. Instead of lines, you are selected and checked in and escorted to your room. The rooms were great!! The shower was fabulous!! Monika knew my name immediately! Do you know how nice it is to be called by name every day?? Jorge overheard some group members talking about the hop on hop off bus and forwarded us emails about the bus routes. Dunia suggested we rent a car to explore the island. She procured the car (it was delivered to us) she highlighted the route and offered restaurant suggestions. The hotel was great!! Quiet at night! The decor is outstanding!! The people were AMAZING!!

The Puro Hotel in Palma was the perfect place for our 5 day vacation! Its in the best area and in the center of Palma (everything walking distance-the best restaurants around the corner, as well supermarkets, coffee places etc)). The staff is very friendly and helpful and it was no problem to get a late check out since our flight was the evening. So we were able to enjoy our last day to the fullest! The handling of the corona situation was done very well and the Hotel took care of all the necessary regulations. The breakfast situation was handled well: we had time slots so that the area is not too crowded and there was very good service & still a lot of options to choose from instead of a buffet. All in all we felt very safe during our stay in Palma (actually everywhere on the island), since restaurants, taxi driver, hotels, public beaches really respect the problem of covid-19. Definitely I will come back to this beautiful hotel!

We attended a special evening event and liked it so much that we came back for sunbeds and lunch the very next day. The overall experience couldn't be better. We had amazing sunbeds right by the pool with a beautiful deck that looks brand new. We sat for lunch and was amazed by the quality. Loved the surf & turf and the quesadillas.

Booked hotel room (suite of sorts) with terraz and jacuzzi and inclusive of beach clubs for May -20 but due to pandemic closure, came June-21. Positive experience even though in covid times, the shuttle service to the beach clubs is great. At the beach clubs, be aware that even if you purchase an inclusive w/ beach clubs, there are restrictions and additional costs. The hotel is perfectly located in Palma, everything within walking distance. Staff friendly and helpful. Restaurant was closed and breakfast was only allowed by the table.

Many Thanks Lynn, Indeed, the restrictions has changed a few of our services, but in some way we managed to give an even better service than we had before. Purobeach (sunbeds) is included in your stay if you book directly with us, although there is a minimal spend person, depending on the type of sunbed, date of use and the place (Illetas or Palma). The restaurant Beatnik is open at the moment from Thursday till Sunday. Hopefully soon we can be open again 7 days a week. Next time you have to experience definitely our restaurant and bar. It´s something special (we are one of the top 20 of restaurants of Palma… of the over 2000 restaurants). Let me know when you like to visit us again. Please, contact me on the email below. Sorry, I think this question is best directed to the hotel as this time of year ( was there 2 weeks ago) is not the time to use the beach! The local Palma beach however is not far and can be walked to very easily but I’m not sure where the beach club is!
Dear Malcolm, kindly be informed that taxis can be found at the airport and there is no need to book them in advance. However we can arrange a private transfer service from and to the airport for you. They will be waiting for you at the luggage room, directly at your flight’s luggage belt. Prices from 60€.
