Booked a short stay with Brittany Ferries and this hotel is an upgrade from the basic price but well worth it. Outside of the main city centre but only yards from a nice quiet beach and right next door to the Casino although there was no significant noise from outside our open windows. The rooms are set around a stunning... More

Lovely hotel and staff. The hotel is across the road from the beach, beside the casino. We were lucky to have room 304 which had lovely sea views. The food on offer was good value. I would definitely stay there again.

Enjoyed a brief stay here in lovely older white style building. Great location next to Casino & close to waterfront for lovely evening stroll. Decor, style & fittings are all from a bygone era, tasteful but not flash. As we had driven for 5 hours we were delighted to use the jacuzzi in the bathroom! We did not eat at... More

Stayed here in Sept. 2015, it was great then, and when we came back here in April 2016 its just as good. This is a very good hotel, great staff, great rooms (especially the bathroom with its walk in shower and loads of freebies). The only down side is poor WFI, and only one English language chanel on the TV.... More

We spent just the one night there 30 December - parking was not a problem and we had a warm friendly reception. The room was wonderful clean and very comfortable with a lovely bathroom. The staff were really great! Coffee in bed in the morning was not a problem! The beach just across from the hotel and the town centre... More

We spent a couple of nights at the Hoyuela Hotel in Santander in October. We thought the hotel was smart, very clean and ideally positioned. We only had to cross the road and walk for two minutes tor each the lovely Sardinero beach. We found the bus system easy to navigate with a little help from the friendly hotel staff,... More

Stayed here for a week in september, and this was a great choice of hotel for us. The hotel is very clean, and our bedroom was of a good size with a very large very well lit bathroom with a walk in shower, and a huge range of about 11 items in the free toiletries basket that included shave kit,... We have rated this 3+, feeling that 4, or " very good ", was just too strong. The location is good, particularly if you have children. If you need to get into Santader there are buse & taxis outside the hotel. Staff at reception and in the restaurant were competant. Free Wi-Fi was extremey poor and very frustrating. This should... Gorgeous hotel right across from the beach, near a bunch of restaurants, and to top it off, there is a pretty big grocery store across the street! What more could you ask for? A great room? Yes, that too! There is a beautiful atrium around which the rooms are situated. The rooms are large and very clean. Wifi is free.... More
