So much about this hotel was great: location was absolutely perfect, front desk staff was super-friendly, helpful. I didn't have breakfast but my kids and husband did, and they thought it was fine. Parking is around back, under the building, and costs extra, as it did everywhere we stayed. I really liked that it was near a little town park...

This hotel is situated near the end of the old Jewish quarter in Toledo, near the Monastery of San Juan de los Reyes, the El Greco Museum and the Transito Synagogue. The hotel was a flour factory at one time and is within walking distance of all the monumental sights of Toledo. Our room was spacious, very clean and comfortable....

This is a very nice hotel in a great location in Toledo. We were able to walk everywhere. Some things were a longer walk than others, but we had no issues. Since the hotel is in the old section of the city, the streets are more maze-like. So, make sure you get a walking map from the hotel before venturing...

Very comfortable room in a great location. We were just passing through Toledo for a night, so we wanted somewhere centrally located. This place was perfect -- easing walking distance to most everything you'd want to see, with a lot of nice restaurants around. We didn't try the food here, but the restaurant next door did a nice lunch.

This hotel is perfect.....lobby area, guest rooms, location and most of all, the staff. Their complimentary breakfast is incredibly complete and tasty and the room rates are most affordable. We especially liked that this hotel, located in the Jewish Quarter, was within two blocks of the Museo de Sefarad and the el Greco Museum and was an easy walk to...

Toledo is small and pretty much anywhere you stay you're bound to be quite centrally located but I did enjoy the relative quietness of the Jewish quarter. The room was nice, enough space for the two of us and our luggage. The safe worked nice. The breakfast time was long and for Spain quite good. The staff was nice, in...

This hotel was the first on our "roadtrip" and set the standard fairly high. We had problems finding the hotel because there were some roadworks but the receptionist was extremely helpful and explained another way to get there. The room was spacious with a nice balcony with chairs and table. The car park was expensive, but to be honest there...

This was one of the last places we stayed during our 2 1/2 week trip to Italy & Spain, and it was a wonderful way to wrap up the trip. We came in on a late train from Madrid, and the cab ride from the station only took about 10 minutes and cost less than 10 Euro. The desk clerk...

My husband and I stayed here last month and had our backpack (including our laptop, Garmin navigator, and other important items) stolen from the hotel lobby as we checked in. It is not well publicized, but Toledo is known to have a relatively high crime rate, as we found out from the police when we completed our police report. We...

We are very sorry about the situation created during your stay with us. We are working very hard to improve our security system to make sure that it doesn't happen again and we are studying some budget to get security camaras in the comun areas. Again I do apologise and hopefully in a future you decide to come back to...

This beautiful hotel, in the old Jewish Quarter of Toledo, is very close to the Cathedral and Monastery and is within five minutes walk to the old town. Staff were extremely helpful and our room was spacious, clean, bathroom adequate but bed a little on the firm side (for my liking). The breakfast room was light and welcoming with a...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
This building of the hotel dates from 1889. At first, it was used as a cold steel Factory. "The San Jose Flour Factory" was created in 1918 and continued its production until July 1996. The Factory was used for the production of flour, marzipan, chocolates and sweets. Its products were among the most valued and known, not only for the use of raw material with an unbeatable quality, but also for the technical methods that guaranteed the supply and production of the different products. This building, considered a point of cultural interest, preserves its Neomudejar facade and is a magnificent representation of the 19th Century industrial architecture. Opened in May 2003, The San Juan de los Reyes Hotel is located in the emblematic Jewish quarter of Toledo, in the historic city centre next to the main monuments: San Juan de los Reyes Monastery, Santa Maria la Blanca Synagogue, Vitorio Macho Museum, El Greco Museum, Santo Tome Church, El Transito Synagogue. ... more   less
