This was booked via Booking.com. They are great at responding to questions and requests online. Rooms and living room are basic but you can use a small kitchen. If you book a 2 bedroom apartment, it has 2 bathrooms too. So you don't have to rush each other in the morning. Some rooms are dark because the window faces inside the building. Location is decent because you can visit Sagrada Familia by walking through tree lined boulevard. Hospital de Sant Pau is just on the next street. You can use their wifi also. If you are on a budget, it will serve the purpose of lodging. But the elevator going to front desk can only fit 3 people maximum. If you bring in luggages, forget the third person. The air conditioner was a one unit in the living room. It was fine in late spring. Be cautious if you visit during hot months. On the day arriving, we (four of us) received the key to the apartment, we only saw a living room with one bedroom so we rushed to the front desk and asked for help. After some time, they found out the cleaning woman locked the bedrooms after cleaning. Well, well.. Problem solved but not too exciting to experience hospitality in a foreign country

Apartamentis atica is very well situated close to Sagrada Familia(about 8 min walk) but still distant from the hustle and bustle of the main site. Metro is about 4 min walk and buses are easily accessible as well. The transport system in Barcelona is very efficient PLUS there is airconditioning in the trains. It can take you anywhere within Barcelona. The check in and out is very quick and efficient. There is a daily room cleaning so you can expect fresh towels everyday. Also with the studio room, there is small kitchen so you can cook if you fancy eating anything special. Loads of grocery stores nearby.

Excellent location near the main sites. Very safe and nice cafes nearby. Place itself is calm quiet and efficient. Very clean and tidy. Basic and neutral decor. Very good shower. Tiny lift and lots of stairs.

It did not start well when we asked the owner how to get from the metro to the apartment. The answer was very brief and not very helpful. Thank god for google maps. We then finally arrived at the apartment after being targeted by pickpockets on the metro (don’t worry they didn’t get anything). The receptionist was very rude and spent more time answering texts and calls on her mobile whilst checking us in. The apartment was clean and basic but the shower needs a good deep clean. I was most annoyed to find that the double bed that we had book was two singles pushed together. There was no cover in between to make it a double, just two single beds with single bedding on top. The apartment is located 30 seconds for sant pau hospital and 5/10 min walk from the sagrada familia but there is not much else in the immediate are. It is not a particularly nice area of Barcelona. Over all not very impressed with the apartment. Would probably stay in the Gothic Quarter if I were to return to Barcelona.

Very nice area of Barcelona. Just a 10-minute walk to Sagrada Familia. Some nice bars nearby, Metro just 5 minutes away. I did not use the cooking facilities. They looked basic but what you would expect from a city apartment. I found the room acceptable. It was good value as it was November and I booked about 4 weeks prior. It was full when I stayed so I would advise early booking here if you want to stay. I would give a higher rating but for the wifi. It was very poor. I needed to do some work on my laptop but it was not possible. It is 2018 so wifi in Barcelona should not be an issue.
