I stayed here to save money and to be at a hotel/hostal so that I would have a person around. The location was a hike from downtown. Metro was a good walk (10 minutes). My room was very small and never did they empty my garbage can or make my bed. the beach was a good walk too. the hotel...

My sister and I spent there a week at the beginning of September and it was AMAZING. Firstly because of the service we have received. Jorge and Alberto were extremely helpful and made our stay troublefree. Because of a few circumstances we had a pleasure to stay in almost every room available so we can honestly say that whatever you...

Spent four nights here in the studio room with three of my girlfriends -- what a lovely stay it was! The guesthouse was located a metro-ride away form the city centre. Barceloneta beach was a walk away and the nearest beach Platja Nova Icaria, which we found to be cleaner and more low-key, was within a five minute walk. The...

This place is just the best value, cleanest (maid comes in everyday), well equipped for self catering, quiet street but really close to the bustling Port Olympic and beautiful beaches. You are within 10 minute walk of the beautiful Parc de la Citudella (main Central Park) which has the Barcelona Zoo which is lovely. The walk to the centre and...

It was our second stay in Bed and Beach Barcelona, first in apartment. Accommodation was perfect (three bedrooms, big bathroom, fully equipped kitchen), apartment is spacious and has its own (and also spacious) terasse. All bedrooms have aircondition, but as two windows are into street and two on the opposite side on the terasse, so you could give the place...

Nice stay in a quiet area close to the beach and the center of Barcelona. The center can be reached either by bus, metro or taxi. Carolina her husband and their staff were very friendly and helpful at any time. We felt very comfortable. The studio was very clean and included everything we needed. The beach is in 5 minutes...

I spent five days together with my niece and nephew, all all of us really loved this place. The guesthousse is not directly in the center, but well connected by direct busses, either to the center, or to "must see" locations such as the Sagrada familia and parc Güell. Much important for travellers in August - the beach is in...

Wanting a cheap place to stay we followed the advice of trip advisor and gave this place a try. Hidden away in a back street it isn't easy to find and the home made doesn't do the place justice. It's tastefully decorated in minimalist style and spotlessly clean. Lots of lovely features make it really homely, particularly the art work...

Little house in the middle of Barcelona, just 10 minutes walking by subway Ciutadela. There are many facilities near the building: Elias for a good breakfast; a mall for buying all what you need; at the end of the street (50meters) you have a bus stop to reach Park Guell, Sagrada Familia or the CCBI congress center. It's in a...

We stayed at this guesthouse 4 nights and we would go back in no time. Staff was really helpful and gave us tons of tips about dining, shopping, sightseeing... Rooms and common areas were spotless and it's located in a small alley next to the beach that is very quiet. It has a rooftop terrace with a wonderful view where...

Staying in Ciutadella / Vila Olimpica

Neighbourhood Profile
Ciutadella / Vila Olimpica
The sounds of Marina Olympica's rocking boats and clicking mastheads swaying to and fro set an impressive backdrop for Ciutadella and Villa Olimpica. Follow the aromas of garlic, wine, and fresh local fish to the various restaurants running along the marina. A grand bronze fish statue soaring high above serves as a beacon to those searching for the renowned Casino Barcelona or the extremely popular nightclubs which practically lie on the beach itself.
