This is the best place to stay in Barcelona. The location is brilliant the rooms are very bright but you get what you ask for. The shower was lovely with lots of hot water. The sink in the bathroom was not very safe but hey I was not having a bath in the sink. The bed was very comfortable but...

Conveniently located about a 10 minute walk from Placa de Catalunya. It's not very easy to find though, not a lot of signs to indicate it's a hotel. I would recommend getting a room with an in-room bathroom. The rooms are basic with a bed, fridge and small TV with no English channels. Very hot at night (although we did...

We stayed there for 13 days was supposed to be 5 only and we extended 2 nights by 2 nights.. so we stayed in 5 different rooms in 3 different appartments. All have the same price but the ones with the balcony are great.. the rooms with no balcony feel like a storage room. Even the apartments are variable regarding...

Really good for what we needed. We had a double room with shared bathrooms. There were 6 rooms (4 doubles/ 2singles) we never had to wait for the bathroom. Room was compfortable with large bed and a little balcony. Great location 20 yards from both urgel metro and auto bus stop. Only negative was 5 floors of stairs and no...

The hostel was fine! The cost was reasonable, it was clean and tidy (beds changed and new clean towels midweek) and the location was excellent. It was 2 mins walking distance from Urgell subway stop, which was handy, althou, you could walk anywhere anyhow. At first, we couldnt find the hostel reception, but once found, they were pleasant. We had...

I stay at the hotel with my boyfriend and I was really surprised that they change bedding and towels every two days! Bath room was down the hall but it wasn't so busy at the time we stayed there so it was ok. Great location. 2 min walk to the Urgell underground station. Bus to the airport is right across...

My best friend and I planned a four-days holiday in Barcelona. My friend booked one double room with shared bathroom at Barcelona Rooms. Before leaving my country, I wrote to the hotel management to ask if a double room with ensuite bathroom could be available, since I don’t like shared toilets. I find them very uncomfortable. A guy replied and...

Barcelona rooms offered all we needed! The room was neat, has a terrace, is quiet and has all the basics. It was peak season, but in Barcelona rooms it's quiet and cool. Even though the bathroom is shared, it was super close to our room and so we didn't really mind. We didn't have the option to use a kitchen,...

I stayed in an ensuite room for two. The room was comfortable and the bathroom was good. I was in like a shared apartment or something so there was a communal area as well. We liked the place and would recommend it for people visiting Barcelona looking to save money on accomidation. We thought the location was good with good...

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
