This hotel has old world charm in a beautiful surrounding, within 10 minutes walk of many attractions. There are many nearby cafés , tapas bars and shops. As we have read there are crowds of people up late in the city and this was true on this placa too, so we felt very safe walking around at night. We had...

Can't say enough GREAT things about this hotel! The "front desk" staff was very friendly and could answer every question. The location is perfect. You can walk everywhere from the hotel. Beautiful decor and very clean.

Seriously, one of the best views in Barcelona! Front desk staff could be more receptive to a couple with a toddler child in a stroller, a jet-lagged 6-old, and 4 pieces of rolling luggage. They pretty much sat and watched us bring it up and down the stairs, multiple times. Hotel is clean, nice, but pretty outdated. Needs a desperate...

Stayed one night. Free upgrade, which is always nice. Easy walk to La R. Downside Breakfast was expensive although there were many cheaper cafes nearby. My wife has mobility issues. Unfortunately we didn't find an alternative to climbing the stairs from the entrance to the hotel to the lobby, (perhaps 12 steps). Usual taxi 'ripoff' from taxi to cruise ship.

We stayed here as the last stop of a European honeymoon, and purposefully saved Barcelona to last as the place that we were the most excited to see. This is something of a tough hotel to review - there are things about it that are simply excellent, some things less so. The good: - the number one thing the Colon...

Old world charm is what the hotel is all about. Nice bar, restaurant and reception area. The rooms are nice but dated and the bathrooms average. The service was great and the employees helpful. The location was fantastic. There were street musicians starting about 5PM and ended about 10PM. There hotel was across the street from the Cathedral so there...

This is a very convenient hotel if one wants to stay in the center of major attractions. As been said, it has a view of the Cathedral too so better book a room with a view. Rooms are adequate, clean, comfortable. Easy walk to good restaurants and very helpful staff

The room was very nice, clean, and all of the amenities were available. The view is not to be believed! Simply amazing! The staff was conscientious and totally professional and overall this was a positive experience in a fantastic location. The A1 bus from the airport was super convenient and very reasonable! The WiFi in the rooms was probably the...

This hotel has old world charm yet provides all the comforts one could want including easy walking access to major attractions. The staff is very attentive and the included breakfast of both hot and cold foods was tasty. Our room provided a complimentary coffee and tea in room service. This was very much appreciated as we could make ourselves a...

Lovely Hotel in a wonderful spot overlooking Cathedral. Book early and reserve the top floor room with balcony and Cathedral view! It was a very large room, with big bathroom and huge balcony. We would absolutely stay here again. Staff was not super warm, but helpful when needed. Perfect location in Gothic district.
