My boyfriend booked 2 nights for my birthday. First time either of us has been to Spain. We'll use this hotel again, great location and nice staff. We had a suite and everything was clean, the walls are a bit thin and could sometimes hear doors slamming. Breakfast was lovely with a good variety. The hotel didn't provide any extra...

We booked this hotel for 3 nights as they had special offset! Location is great but the place is dated and really not that special! The terrace is nice with lovely views but the rest is quite disappointing. Staff or ok but nothing special. We got a room overlooking the inside courtyard so it was quite. There are far better...

This hotel has everything for the tourist. Its in a great location, the rooms are very nice, the staff is awesome, the roof deck has a bar and a pool and the lobby bar serves both coffees and cocktails. During my stay over Thanksgiving, the hotel threw a party in the lobby to kick off the Christmas season which included...

The hotel is spacious and plush from the entrance, to the foyer, to the piano bar. We arrived at the hotel early and our room wasn't ready but we were able to store our bags and freshen up in a luxurious 'rest' room filled with everything you need to refresh after a long flight. The room was spacious and large...

I stayed here with my boyfriend for a short city break in November. It was a perfect hotel - the room was a good size & the bed was extremely comfy. It was really clean & the cleaners came in each day to clean to the same excellent standards. The hotel somehow found out it was my birthday during the...

The hotel is centrally located between the Passage Garcia- Place Catalunya- Ramblas and La Familia Sagrada making it walking distance from both. The rooms are nice and clean, the breakfast is reasonable, the rates reasonable. There is a good bar in the lobby open quite late. However the reception staff can be more helpful specially with Barcelona's reputation of pickpockets...

True 4 star hotel. Loved the rooftop pool, jacuzzi, the bar looked nice but didnt avail of it. The room I stayed in and would recommend was a superior room with terrace. Nice touches slippers, dressing gown, free quality body lotuon etc. Bed was really large and provided a great sleep. Downside being the lack of english tv stations. Usual hotel...

Moved to Gran Hotel Havana on recent trip following horrible experience in another hotel in Barcelona where my bag was stolen from hotel lobby. Here at Hotel Havana, the staff were on the case, fully attentive and friendly. Check in proceeded with ease and I quickly had the key to a very well appointed room that was quick to get...

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
