Hotel Centric is a Nice, modern hotel. Some interesting places can be reached on foot, but the Subway is also very nearby. Staff is very friendly. The room was pleasant enough. There was Some streetnoice, but that is to be expected when you are staying in the middle of a big town. Good restaurants and bars in the neighbourhood.

I was so pleased with my choice of accommodation. The standard of Hostal Centric is definitely 3 star plus, however beware, there is no breakfast room. This is probably the reason why they call themselves "hostal" rather than hotel, but then a short walk away are numerous cafes with breakfast menus for a few euros, so it wasn't at all...

The hotel was very nice, modern and clean. The room we had was spacious. Good price for students like me or for those who have tight budget. It is close and in the middle of every attractions, sure other places we had to walk 30 minutes or more but it didn't seem very far as we got to see more...

Exellent location, very clean hotel and friendly and helpful staff. Price was reasonable for low budjet. Very quiet, sounds of the street didn't reach the room at all. I do warmly recommend this hotel.

If you're looking for good quality, great value accommodation in the heart if the city then this is the place! The hotel is located in a fairly quiet street just 10 minutes walk from La Rambla and only 5 minutes from the Metro stations of either Universitat or Urgell. We came in from the airport via the Rodalies train, changing...

Conveniently located to the L'Eixample District of Barcelona and less than two blocks from the subway (metro) about equal distance from the Ugell and Universitat stations. The street that Hostal Centric is on has a quiet neighborhood feel to it. I felt safe walking around even late night. We were within walking distance of most things we were interested in...

We stayed for 4 nights in this hotel, in a triple room. We could hardly find a better option at the same price: everything is new (the bathroom, the furniture), very clean, very close to Placa Catalunya and Rambla. Easy to reach from the airport with the Aerobus. 24 hours reception. Close to the metro stations. What could be improved:...

Spent two days there while in Barcelona. It was a very comfy hotel and super well located near the city center. The rooms aren't very spacious but I think it's to be expected in Europe. The room was clean and fairly recent, the bathroom was pretty nice too. You need to put your room card in a slot to get...

Stayed 1 night here. Booked on booking.com for 77€ / 114,54 $CAD. Super location, nearby many subways stations and many restaurants / bars / cafés / bakeries. Room is a bit small but it does the job, same thing with the bathroom. Overall, can't complain too much. Our room had a mini terrace as well. Staff was kind. Free wifi....

Staying in El Raval

Neighbourhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
