I chose this hotel not for its position on the Rambles (would actually prefer to be elesewhere), but for its proximity to the Aerobus stop terminus, when coming in from the airport, and for the Rodalies station in the Placa De Catalonia, which I use for heading up to the Costa del Mar es me, or down go Tarragon. Both...

Right in the middle of the main busy Street of Barcelona this is a great central location. A 2 min walk to the square where all tour buses start and the sea/ harbour about 30 mins walk at the end of the street. We stayed in room 208 which had a small balcony over looking the Ramblas. The room was...

Booked in for 3 nights end march and being on the ramblas expected noise during the night, what I didn't expect was a team of scaffolders outside my window for 3 days. When the revellers finished they started early and it was deafening, the hotel was full so no point in complaining about it, would have been nice for the...

It has great location... It is on the La Ramblas street and very close to Plaza Catalonia Square. You can reach the hotel in 5 minutes walks from Aerobus bus station. The building is old but the room was clean and useful. It has humble breakfast.

Located in the start of the Rambla you are sure to have a bit of noise but it was actually not that bad. The breakfast was 8 euro/pax and which is very fair and good supply og what your heart desires. Don't be fooled be the simple one star cat., it is a very good hotel and the staff are...

Me, my wife and our 9 year son stayed here for a 4 day city break in February 2017. It's a very well located hotel, right on La Ramblas and next to Place De Catalunya. It's convenient and easy to get to just about everything. The hotel is clean and tidy, the staff helpful and understand English. The breakfast is...

The Lloret hotel has proven to work well for my family and me several times. The rooms are a little small, which is common throughout Europe, but comfortable and clean. My wife enjoyed the bathtub each evening. Breakfast is good, though crowded each morning. (Indicating a popular hotel?) The location on Las Ramblas can't be beat. The metro is very...

We stayed here one night prior to a cruise. It's a great location in the heart of all of the action and nightlife of Barcelona. They are great to hold your luggage for you until your room is ready. Also, they have a free breakfast, which will give you an idea of European breakfast. Ask for a room on the...

Great for first time visit. Right outside the subway in the middle of all the Ramblas action. Extremely touristy but also safe and the staff speak some English. Go to La Boqueria for frescas and get your cheap water and supplies at Carrefour just a couple blocks away. Rooms are small but convenience is worth it. Bring ear plugs.

Staying in La Rambla

Neighbourhood Profile
La Rambla
Barcelona's most famous street was once a dry riverbed. Now, La Rambla is a 1200-metre boulevard, and a major draw for visitors. During the day, La Rambla fills with pedestrians, some of which stroll past impressive human statues and artists while others take a break to people-watch while enjoying a drink at one of the many terraces. Housed here is the iconic Boqueria Market that offers one of the most varied and appetising selections of local produce and specialty meats and treats. While it’s important for tourists to keep an eye on their belongings at all times, this area is most safely explored in the daytime and is a must see for everyone who visits.
