Hotel in a fantastic location, opposite the Metro Station and Bus stop and 10 mins by walk to La Ramblas, 5 mins by walk to Placa Cataluña. However, the bedroom was very very small, the bathroom was basic and very noisy !!! OK for just one person. The breakfast was good !

Little friendly cleaned hotel, Stayed there with my boyfriend for a week, Had great time. The staff were very friendly and helped us with everything we needed. The hotel has terrific location- just by the metro- Which through you can get to any place you'd like to visit in barcelona. The only con is the breakfast- a very modest one,...

We have just returned from a three night stay here. We had a good deal online and stayed in a double room and daughter stayed in a single. Firstly, location near metro and Pl Catalunya and walkable to harbour. Secondly, the beds were comfortable, the shower worked well and although the rooms were quite cosy (small) everything was there. The...

My boyfriend and I were staying there for 7 nights now, and in order to explore Barcelona and it's surroundings - we had luck to have good staff at the hotel, perfect location and pleasant equipped room. Breakfast is very basic actually, but still fine. You have starbucks, pizza, pans etc around so food is very easy to find, and...

Pre booked 3 nights. Staff were nice and the lady who checked us in was super friendly and helpful. The rooms were okay in size but in desperate need of a makeover. The bathroom was dirty with mould in the shower and grout. The shower head was damaged and clogged with scum. The bathroom floors looked like they haven't seen...

The hotel is very central. The location is perfect, You can almost go everywhere by foot is you like walking. The room is ok. The breakfast should be upgraded as it was very poor compared to the price.

Actually stayed here in November 2014. Very clean but a little clinical. Staff were friendly. Small but pristine rooms, luckily we were only there for sleep as there is so much to see and do in this beautiful city Need more time here so will be going again in October 2016 pre cruise. Going to visit some of the things...

We stayed for a few nights and it was a very enjoyable stay. the staff was absolutely wonderful and helpful (shoutout to a guy who works there called Eli, an absolute legend!!!). The location is great, very close to everything (Bus, Train, Metro) Breakfast was average, run by the restaurant next door... the hotel itself was good - location and...

I have spent 5 night in Urquinaona Hotel last December. The room are okey, you can't ask for more, the have everything you need and are good looking (modern) with a private bathroom. During the night it is completely quiet, so you can have a good sleep. The breakfast is good, some people may complain but I like it. The...

the best of the hotel is the central location, a stone-throw from placa catalunya, ideal for sifgt seeing, shopping and "pub crawls. I had a room facing the noisy road but nevertheless I slept well. My room was simple and clean. The heating was working. The shower cabin is half-open and water is spraying allover the bathroom when taking a...

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
